Letting Go, Words I Never Said, The Show Goes On, Beautiful Lasers, State Run Radio, All Black Everything and Never Forget You are all great songs and Till I Get There isn't bad either. Then there are the bonus songs (Shining Down and I'm Beaming). I think Lasers gets a bad rep

@cocodrillo1012 I HATED Beautiful, his rhyme scheme was terrible is flow was very choppy and it just sounded like he was bitching for the whole song. It was boring and was one of my lease favorite songs on the album. Letting Go, Words I Never Said, The Show Goes On, Beautiful Lasers, State Run Radio, All Black Everything and Never Forget You are all great songs and Till I Get There isn't bad either. Then there are the bonus songs (Shining Down and I'm Beaming). I think Lasers gets a bad rep

@cocodrillo1012 I'm 20 and I know the song was meant to be deep but it didn't come off as deep it came off as bitching about the same thing's he's been talking about since the Eminem Show. Cleaning Out my Closet is one of my favorite songs of all time because it's deep, poetic, you can easily relate to it and it reflects just how much shit he's had to deal with. Beautiful was just corney, the lyrics were mostly half assed half rhymes with no depth behind them I expected more from Em

@bboyfan22 ok for 1 your comapring 2 completly different songs about 2 completly different things, and also cleaning out my closet and Beautiful have to 2 completly different beats, the beat on beautiful, doesnt even really have bass, it doesnt really have much of anything, so he can't just start rhyming a bunch of words together like he usually does, cuz than its gonna throw off his flow and he's gonna be off tempo and its gonna sound bad, and i dont see when you mean bitching, hes not even

@bboyfan22 both are rapping with the same fast tempo flow and they just switch and go back and forth, and obviously eminem is not what he use to be, its obvious he fell off since back in the day but like i said he was gone for 5 years and went through some shit, he had writers block and basicly had to teach himself how to rap again.... so comparing eminems lyrics from back in the day to his lyrics now, are obviously not gonna be fair cuz he was a lot better back than

@cocodrillo1012 it felt like he couldn't put together a stanza the rhymes were simple and the song wasn't engaging, he didn't wow me with anything he said and the fact that they are his real emotions isn't enough for me to forgive the lack of the level of lyricism we've come to expect from Em. Anyone can just say how they are feeling, that's not what makes a good song, saying what you are feeling with riveting, clever lyrics that can make the listener feel what you feel is what makes a song good

Recovery was good but there aren't any great songs on it there are like 2 wack songs on it everything else is just good. The songs I heard off BmE were good but Em's part was wack. He's not staying on topic and rapping about nonsense, Just look at the song they did with Bruno Mars Em makes that song wack because his verse has nothing to do with the song.

@cocodrillo1012 I didn't say it's hard to follow I said he's not on the topic of the song, his verse ruined the mellow tone of the song it was vulgar and aggressive but the song is mellow it just didn't sound good on that song. And on fast lane Royce sounded way better than Em, his flow sounded effortless on the beat while Em sounded like he was trying too hard to rap funny and fast, I miss the old Em when every verse he spit was incredible.

Best album he's done since hes came back, lots of good rapping in that album, they use good rhyme schemes, great album!

However, The Slim Shady LP, the Marshall Mathers LP, and The Eminem show are all ranked within the top 500. Tell me what impact has he made in the hiphop industty/world? Lupe is a good artist, but putting him next or even above slim shady clearly shows your lack of knowledge regarding hiphop.

@bigwill0705 Not that it really matters, but i think you should look at the certification between Lupe and Eminem. Lupe has 3 studio albums with 1 x gold. Eminem has 7 studio albums 6 x Gold, 98 x Platinum, and 3 x Diamond. If you did minor edits to every track on Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor, Lupe Fiasco's The Cool, and Lasers, it could very well be nothing more than a mainstream artist.

However, Eminem tops Lupe on lyrics and a big part of that is due to great albums like The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP, and The Eminem Show.If you look at the Rolling Stones top 500 albums in the world (which is not based off record sales), each one is listed. Nothing against Lupe, but Eminem has been in the hip hop world industry longer.
