  • brings back SO MUCH MEMORIES!!!!

  • New nostalgia ringtone acquired :) Many thanks.

  • Manly nostalgia tears...

  • Seasons is my favorite Zelda game with Majora Mask. Can't decide which I like best but damn, they're so amazing.

  • I had both games i think i still have seasons. Both of these Zelda games were really good.

  • Doesn't the intro sound like Duran Duran - Save a prayer intro? ^^

  • I used to go to the ruins just to listen to the music ;) but sometimes that guy there with the flail would kill me...I learned the lesson and I never went past the first screen again

  • so much nostalgia...

  • i remember me playing this when i was 4 then i picked it up 5 years later all gbc music is stuck in my head

  • i still have both the games :') i'm playing them right now

  • @TrevorRulezD00d Best handheld Zelda games by far.

  • i had ages... so much time spent playing that game!!

  • This relaxing soundtracks NEEDS an extension!

  • Yeah I know this is sad and pathetic, but Tarm Ruins theme was a get-away from reality check for me. It's like "f-ck everything else and just relax". LOL

  • @HylianSage84 Dude, I know EXACTLY what you mean.

  • I still have the game

  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Secrets

...I want to go to there...

  • @Weesnauh My friend and I were planning on making one, then I got flash and thought it mgith be a good idea if I made it myself with flash graphics rather than sprites.

It hasn't been touched since because I have no idea how to use Flash or actionscript.

If you would like to see the very inactive project page, go here: oracles-Reborndotdeviantartdotcom

  • @Weesnauh Fans can always find a way to make it.

  • @DarknessDevours no fan games...

  • @Weesnauh Only one fucking month later. Don't bother to reply by then dude.

  • @Weesnauh too bad they scrapped "Seeds of Courage" and the three-game-concept.

  • @LinkEX For Nintendo and CapCom to finish off whatever content they had started with Mystical Seed of Courage (making all necessary changes to the story), and release it as a full 2d 8-bit style Wii-u game entitled "Oracle of Secretes," in like spirit with the The Game Cube's Four Swords Adventures as it relates to large numbers of moving objects sharing the screen at once, would be a wise decision indeed.

  • this was my first zelda game, i bought it in like 2nd grade. it was really hard for me to figure out how to get out of the first part....anyways, this game is my favorite zelda game. i think every zelda fans favorite one is their first because it triggers so many memories. kojis music is also composed so intricately. he knows which arpeggios and notes are going to hit your emotions and make you feel the exact way he wants you to feel.

  • @bobbyhillisabro i remember my sister LOST this game on me in 3rd grade when i was stuck in these ruins...and years later[lol 2 years ago] i have money to buy a game ive been saving up for then i see this game in the gbc case at gamestop and i just say"screw it gimme this one"

  • @MajorasMask65 nice haha, its such a shame that gamestop doesnt sell gb or gbc games anymore

  • @bobbyhillisabro i know its soooo sad T-T maybe if we boycott enough they'll bring back all old systems too XD

  • @MajorasMask65 a strong winded letter maybe lol

  • @bobbyhillisabro and worse comes to worse we make ganon show up XD

  • @MajorasMask65

For me I let my friend borrow seasons and he lost it. I never saw it ever again plus seasons was my very first Zelda game, all I can do now is either wait until it comes to the eshop for the 3DS, download it to an emulator or actually find a game copy of it which is impossible now.

  • @swordsaver there IS always amazon

  • It isnt the same without the sound effects of Link swinging the Rod of Seasons and the Seasons changing

  • @profesor1917 Lol you're right. I remember I was stuck at this part for so long, back then I didn't understand the concept of which season order I needed to set the woods to.

  • I swear, once I was done with the game, I sometime went there and spent HOURS just to listen to this awesome music. Truly the best song of any 8-bit Zelda games

  • @NeoArashi Same here! There's something euphoric about this song it's incredible what they did with what little they had to work with!

  • too bad the music isn't the same quality nowadays.

  • I have both of these games boxed and complete. I'm really happy to have them!

  • @OhHaiYT dang it every time somebody talks about still owning these, and also when I hear the music again, I get a tinge of doubt about selling them. My brother and I just literally sold them both in the past few months. :/ I wonder if I should have kept them. At one time I owned almost all of the Zelda games and they're such a huge part of my growing up...

  • Back in the day I used all my birthday money to buy Seasons... best choice ever!

  • @xlookxtoxthexsky iknowthatfeel. i know it so good, shit is still so cash.

  • ugh i never did beat ages when i was a kid and now the thing doesnt work :( ....now to begin my grand search for another ages game

  • You don't hear much about these two little diamonds, sadly enough. IMO either one of these games is better than phantom hourglass and spirit tracks combined. These games where very similar to the good Zelda games like ALTTP and Links Awakening...

  • i think shigeru could make some story outta *the tarm people*:like i dunno, somothing linked to the windwaker ...the people after the hero of winds* thats why the wind element was there or something and besides that music is too mysterious* i liked a lot...XD!!!! and i ve never gatter all the rings....-__-noble sword*master sword*iron shield*and mirror shield*but never the rings...

  • I loved this song :') I often just trawelled to the Tarm ruins just to hear this song. Oh and the dungeon there was one of the best

  • Man, they use other songs from this series over and over again. Why not this one?

  • I still play this game. On my blue pokemon gameboy color I got when I was 3. Both of them. *epic face*

  • i can play this on guitar =D

  • I remember this from my childhood. Seasons was my first Zelda game and probably my favorite, and this is by far my favorite music from this game. Listening to this feels like I'm actually in the game...

  • I Love this FUCKING song !!! i swear to god i would put this on my Mp3 and listen to it on the Bus...

  • @Ace111694 you say that like it's a big deal? don't you consider game music listening material?

  • These are probably the two most underrated Zelda games!

  • @zxox27 No. The most underrated Zelda games are Zelda: Wand of Gamelon and Zelda: The Faces of Evil.

  • @LeleOtaku I don't even consider those Zelda games, lol.

  • @LeleOtaku Neither of those games can even be considered "underrated" due to how heavily memed and unanimously hated the games are. In fact, its arguable that they're OVERrated based on the memes alone.

  • @AoBomberman Good point and well made :)

  • Comment removed

  • seriously people, shut up with the remakes! just enjoy the original versions of games. swear to god -___-

  • WOW, been a LONG time since I played this~!!! X3 I only had Oracle of Seasons, but my friend had Oracle of Ages -- I love the smexy dancin' Din the best, though~ ^_^

  • Found these two TOGETHER a year ago and bought them.

These are my favorite Zelda handhelds and I have finished them but

    will remember this theme..

  • I have still have these games :D! man they were soo much fun and challenging

  • Awesome

  • man, this is nostagiafying. You almost put me to tears. It was always my favorite song in the whole entire game.

    ...damn ball and chain knights.

  • So dam difficult. Those were the days weren't they?

  • Did this song even play in Oracle of Ages? I know where it played in Oracle of Seasons, but I don't remember hearing it in Ages. Does anyone know if and where it played?

  • i knew when I put "oracle of seasons ost" the first thing it would show would be this song!!

  • was about this close to buying another DS and both oracle games just to figure out where I knew this track from.

now I don't have to whistle

  • ohhh i <3 this song

  • Gorgeous!

  • I can barely remember the Tarm Ruins. And it kills me. These games were fucking AMAZING. Also, @tenorsaxman3030, find a guide. I liked Ages WAY more than seasons, honestly.

I've gotta find my copy of OoA....and link's awakening, too.

  • @Urmum55 why not just download the ROm n play it on your computer?

  • I've beaten Oracle of Seasons, but there's a point of Oracle of Ages I just can't get past. It's giving me a migrane...

  • @Tenorsaxman3030 Which part? i can help you

  • EXTEND THIS!!!!

  • I love this theme! Perfect for winter time!

  • My favorite theme from one of my favorite Zelda games along with Majora's Mask, A link to the past, Ocarina of time and The minish cap

  • this song is on pharmasawsimacals

  • i could listen to this for ever it's so awsome

  • greatest games...EVER!

  • they need to remaster this

  • Protect your shield! =O

  • If I was to do a Top 10 list of all the music tracks that can only be heard in Seasons (not Ages or Link's Awakening), there would definitely be a spot for this 1 as well as....

    -Subrosia

    -Subrosia Home & Market

    -Date with Rosa

    -Level 1: Gnarled Root Dungeon

    -Level 2: Snake's Remains

    -Level 4: Dancing Dragon Dungeon

    -Level 7: Explorer's Crypt

    -Temple of Seasons Ruins

    -Sunken City

  • You should hear the MIDI files on vgmusic of this.

  • They should make a remake of this game

  • @jamesfelix303 If it ever happens it's probably gonna be for the 3DS, and I don't plan on getting one :(

  • This is the most nostalgic song for me.

when i was a kid i couldnt read english and i had NO IDEA how to proceed throught this part in the game. It was one of my only games so i kept playing the forest part... killing infinite like likes and trying everything to get thought..

i still dot remember how i did it.

still have the game and the save file.

  • This is the most nostalgic song for me.

  • I lost "it" not "them". I still have Oracle of Ages; I lost Seasons. I actually recall playing seasons with this music in that very area at the airport when I met a guy who let me borrow the game while I waited, so that's why I wanted Zelda in the 1st place.

I really want to find my Oracle of Seasons to play it again. T.T

  • OMG I HATE HAVING LOST THIS GAME (Oracle of Seasons)!

Luckily, I finished both before I had lost them, but THAT DOESN'T MAKE UP FOR THE FACT THAT I WANNA PLAY ORACLE OF SEASONS FOR THE MILLIONTH TIME!!!

Yes, the caps are used to show how much I regret misplacing this game. *Goes to look for it.*

  • GOD I'M GONNA CRY!! D;

    Such good memories...geeze.

  • Stupid fucking knights.

  • I have to say that the Tarm Ruins were my second favorite place, first being Zora City and/or just plain underwater, and then third has to be Crescent Island xD

  • they should definitel use this song in a new zelda game. and yes a wii version would be amazing, but keeping the feel that the gameboy color version gives will be the hard part.

  • I would absolutely love it if they made a wii version/remake of these games, and keep the sort of darkness emphasized throughout the game. You'd be able to chose which game to play ages or seasons or something like that.

Other than that this song's really nostalgic for me (did i use that word right?) :)

  • How the hell do I remember this?

  • Comment removed

  • I just downloaded these roms a few nights ago and beat seasons. yay.

  • Loved these games

  • getting to the 6 lvl in seasons was a pain

  • This was the best Game Boy music I've ever heard. I loved that game.

  • I think this collection actually made my favorite Zelda game.

  • by far, the best game on the gameboy, well next to pokemon red/blue.

  • Imagine this in 3D. I'd be scared so much of this forest because of infinite Like Likes falling from the trees and following me.

  • And imagine this in 3D with this beautiful music in an orchestrated version <3

  • @Linkenfant By 3D do you mean link Ocarina of time/ Majora's mask/ Wink waker/ Twilight princess 3D graphics? or 3D as in for 3DS, or both?

  • @Mushroomroy 3DS's 3D =)

  • @Linkenfant NOOOOOOOO D: It's perfect this way!

  • @Linkenfant

this in 3d would totally kill my childhood memories. :(

i never played any of the 3d games and probably never will.

if i hear TLoZ i will always think of that little pixelish guy and epic 8bit music.

  • @Linkenfant I NEEEED IT IN 3D FOR 3DS!!!!!!

  • @SMRPGFAN101 In zelda Twilight princess when you go to get the master sword from the "lost woods" there are strange wooden puppet things that come after you; and even if you kill them they respawn. familiar much?

  • @PowderSpark Yes, but not as scary as Like Likes. Those worms scare the living crap out of me.

  • @SMRPGFAN101 You will be able to download this via 3ds virtual console

  • @MegaMajorasmask One of the huge reasons I look forward to it. I would like to be able to just play the Gameboy Zeldas on my Wii though. Also my cartridges are dying and aren't holding saves. If Nintendo is thinking of allowing other platforms on the 3DS, then I don't see why not on the Wii. The controls would not be much different than the NES games. I don't have as much time nowadays either and would rather game on a console if that makes sense.

  • @SMRPGFAN101 you will be avaible to download both games on 3DS so it won't be possible on wii

  • @SMRPGFAN101 I was stuck on that for four months.... -_- Imagine how long it would take people now if the made a 3D remake....o_o I was so close to beating them both, at the last dungeon in each. I always loose them when I'm on the last dungeon...>_< Just a week ago I found OoS, I beat it in 20 minutes and beat the s**t out of Onox 5+ times just to vent my frustration that I couldn't beat Ages and finish the darn series. At least I saved Din...=3 I think I'll sack my own house for OoA...
  • These are the least talked about Zelda games that I know of other than the 2nd game.

  • Reminds me of when I never found out out to get out of the woods. :P Then IGN showed up.

  • Wow. Hearing this makes me think about Link walking through a forest following the Skull Kid. Such peaceful thoughts...

  • *signs a form for nostalgia bricks*

*a ton of bricks with 'nostalgia' written on each one fall on me*

wooooooooow. i haven't played this game in forever... i loved Seasons

  • I also liked the part of ages where you have to go to dungeon nr 8. i liked that song too IIRC

  • god brings back the good old days :')

  • YEAYUH!!!! i was waiting for a sages/oracle song :] i have fond memories of this, i struck a deal with my sister and we both bought one then beat them. But we never knew about the secret crossing-over-to-the-other-game-through-a-password function and our jaws dropped :P

  • I've played these games so much that going through them isn't as fun as it used to be. I miss the days when this game gave me so many wonders.

  • I love this track.

I hate myself for losing my only copy of Seasons.

  • one of the best oracle of seasons/ages themes.

  • I used to 'borrow' my brother's Seasons cartridge at night when he was asleep, and listen to music for minutes maybe an hour! I had the Ages cartridge, but I was very young at the time we first had the games so I never made it as far as the Tarm Ruins/ Lost Wood.

I could just listen to it and it made feel relaxed like massage or bath could..

It always make me feel that I'm in some kind of old ruin or dense forest with some secretive mystical creatures and buildings around me.

  • I prefer Seasons, but I think mostly because I gave Ages to my brother, and therefore played Seasons first. I love this track

  • Yes this one was awesome.

  • YES YES YES!

  • omg i loved these games...oh and btw nice HQ images haha

  • the sounds HQ too!

  • i really miss this kind of musik :/

  • the subrosia song stuck with me more than any other song in these games

  • I remember someone requested this one a long time ago.

I beat Ages first, then Seasons. I liked Seasons more :)

  • NOSTALGIANOSTALGIANOSTALGIA

  • My god yes!

  • Favorite two games of all time. Right here. Thanks for the upload Darky! =)

  • i still choose ages over seasons no mader how many more ppl prefer seasons >.>

  • I always preferred Nayru to Din

  • Seasons gave me such a hard time as a kid. It was also the first Zelda game I ever owned. Great times.

  • for zelda gameboy music plz :D

  • Almost all GB games with a popular name have exc. music. Esp. the Mega Mans & TMNT: FotFC. Hope we get to hear from these gems & more. :)

  • the gameboy color Zelda games (the 3 of them) are my favorite zelda games. MUCH better than Lttp, which is VERY overrated.

  • both are great games with really good music.

  • Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages are severely underrated. It has a fresh and new start that both returns to the original Zelda roots while it explores new opportunities in 2-Dimensional gameplay. And of course, a beatiful soundtrack that uses the small Gameboy Colour for all it's worth.

The reason why I don't like Minish Cap and Phantom Hourglass is because I liked these two far more...

  • you´re so right! the 2-d look however was already used in zelda 2.

  • the seasons and time paradox system from both zeldas were far more sophisticated than the 2-world one from minish cap, which , since a link to the past , has been over-used.

  • YES!! YOU FINALLY ADDED THIS!!

  • Never played these Zelda gamesStill has that RPG music sound, but I don't think I would have guessed it was Zelda. Very cool though.

  • your right they sound like their from a dragon warrior game

  • I never played these, but I like this song a lot. Very nostalgic.

  • I love this song the most...

I think I'm gonna play it on my ocarina some time...

  • Great games, though I liked Ages' soundtrack better

  • Both Ages and Seasons share some music traks. Only Ages has deeper music than Seasons, but the puzzles are brutal. The Power Glove tile puzzle really ticked me off.

  • i found it much more difficult to beat the gorons, especially in dancing, that´s the hardest part of a video game i´ve ever come too.

  • At least the Gorons aren't a-holes about you screwing up like the Subrosians.
