leclerc tank costs 17 million euro (22 million usd) t-90 costs 2.77 million usd so you would have to destroy 10 t-90s for each leclerc destroyed. all new technology in leclerc is focused on fire control, but it has no defense other than solid armor: it has no shtora for laser guided weapons, no reactive armor for HEAT shells, it has slightly higher top speed but t-90 more mobile (8 tons less) and accelerates faster, leclerc is much bigger dimension and easier target to hit, most important:
