I'm a little torn on Childs. She was David Ricketts girlfriend, and that stress was one of the main reasons D&D split up. I own Union, and it's a good work, but honestly, I'd rather have had D&D stay together and not have her work...

the entire album was a stroke of genius. I couldn't wait for their follow up album ... only to severley bummed out when I heard they split ways. Makes you appreciate this all the more. C'mon guys ... kiss and make up ... and PLEASE give us another 25 years of listening bliss! So unique a sound defies all the musical odds!
They made a video for "Swallowed By The Cracks" that was shown in MTV way back when. I'm surprised no one has posted that here. As good as "Rock" and "Ain't So Easy" are, the best is "Swallowed."
