@theringodd I think the reason for why it looks better in-game when you're playing, is because they hadn't updated the graphics as much, as well as they didn't have AA.

The armor doesn't exactly impress me. You know most people want to play the bounty hunter class just to look like boba fett which they probably will never be allowed to recieve mandolorian armor.
Would like to point a few things out. All the moves u don't get untill later levels and that planet is the starting planet which only lasts until level 10. And those some of thos are power-tech moves
If you see me online i'll probably be a bounty hunter and ill probably be shouting "FOR THE MANDALORE" whenever something comes within shooting distance, and if snipers are a weapon allowed to bounty hunters, you'll probably hear it alot.

@BattleDroid28 Not really. If you watch some of their PvP videos, (they're all like level 10) and it's some of the funnest looking low level combat i've ever seen. Their "Operations" are incredible and unique as well. Combined with the fact that the game itself is story-driven. Raising the bar for it's gameplay drastically.

KOTOR was awesome, but it was a single player game, limited. Once done there is nothing really new. ToR is using the same concept but in an MMO. New content, gaming with friends... there is nothing better. Whats with all the WoW kids constantly putting down this game...lol... you do know its done by bioware...BIOWARE... read up kids...they are no blizzard...and thats a good thing!
@maltonbranch i completely agree, i came off of WoW for FFXIV then saw it majorly flopped with no PS3 version yet...so im on SW:TOR now and it looks better than anything else that's come outt for MMORPG yet and im a HUGE fan of Square and Blizzard just they haven't been up to par with expanding and innovating their concepts (In Squares case, just not appealing to the other MMORPGers)
Finally, I knew other people wanted another KOTOR. It's what I have always preferred over some MMO. Besides, it is just Blizzard bribing them to get all of the children out of WoW. (No I don't play Wow)

Considering SWTOR profited at 500,000 purchases and had $300 million spent on it im going to assume SWG profited, which means it was a success. There's also mini-games to keep u occupied like space combat, waaay better graphics and background scenery, world bosses, social hubs and a whole planet dedicated to end-game questing. And then if you include thing's WoW dose have like battlegrounds, raids, dungeons ( except Tor's dungeon's are story based )...

just to let you all know bioware has said many times this is kotor 3 but its an mmo... this is 2011 not 2005 or w/e kotor 2 came out no one likes single player non online games anymore...

Well, since there be people in here as well that have nothing better to do then go to at each other's throats, let me join the battle by saying the following:
SW is not bad, but regarding Sci-Fi GAMES, Mass Effect series blows SW to bits for the sole reason that it is FRESH and not overused and suckled dry. SW is like Yoda just before becoming one with the Force - truly awesome, but it's time is limited. Let other's take over, because nobody - and nothing - will be there forever.

KOTOR was awesome, but it was a single player game, limited. Once done there is nothing really new. ToR is using the same concept but in an MMO. New content, gaming with friends... there is nothing better. Whats with all the WoW kids constantly putting down this game...lol... you do know its done by bioware...BIOWARE... read up kids...they are no blizzard...and thats a good thing!

@maltonbranch i completely agree, i came off of WoW for FFXIV then saw it majorly flopped with no PS3 version yet...so im on SW:TOR now and it looks better than anything else that's come outt for MMORPG yet and im a HUGE fan of Square and Blizzard just they haven't been up to par with expanding and innovating their concepts (In Squares case, just not appealing to the other MMORPGers)

But the last star wars mmo came out before and has already pretty much ended. So its time for a new one. Kotor 3 should come out next and yes i do think there should be a kotor 3. We also learned from SWG that Star wars dident really work on a MMO scale, not to say i wont be getting this game but still its already been done. @wbubby It does make sense. Maybe it's a colliquiol because of where i'm from. Anyway, first of all, 400,000 subscriptions is more than you might think. Considering SWTOR profited at 500,000 purchases and had $300 million spent on it im going to assume SWG profited, which means it was a success. You can't compare WoW to everything in the MMO universe. Just because WoW has 11.1 million *active accounts* ( not neccessarily players ) dosen't mean every MMO has to hit tht mark to be successful.

And SWG was loseing money, It costed more to maintain then they where makeing off it and werent seeing the income they needed. You right 11.1 million accounts probably works out to 11 million actual players. BUT i digress SWG wasent even fun or well put togather. AND i resated even if this is good most people rather just have a kotor 3 then this.

@wbubby Yes i made a spelling error, as if you haven't. It has cost them 300 mill to make. I said they *get* profit at 500.000 purchases. or at least that's what was announced, but they have ALOT more than that. Collecters Edition sold out on day 1. That's a million copies each costing $150-$179. Then ofcourse there's the 5 pound pre-order charge and other editions of the game such as the digital deluxe ( $60 ) and standard. After a few months of additional purchases and sub fee's it'll hit prof

@wbubby It can't be a flop as the dev's themselves have said "They base it off of the WoW model." Bsically meaning it will be like WoW... just not shit. For one it won't be a grind. There's also mini-games to keep u occupied like space combat, waaay better graphics and background scenery, world bosses, social hubs and a whole planet dedicated to end-game questing. And then if you include thing's WoW dose have like battlegrounds, raids, dungeons ( except Tor's dungeon's are story based )...

I don't think WoW "was" shit, i think i *is* shit. A long time ago, not vanilla, but BC the game was amazing and everything i wanted, Wotlk slowly changed it and Cataclysym is more of the same. It got those 11.1 million subs while it was good. Now that it's bad itt's not only not gaining sybs, but losing them.

I'd rather have this and i played both Kotor games multiple times, the first more than the second. This is a more than satisfactory substitute until Kotor 3 is released...

Eminem was in the underground for a long time, no-one thought he was good because not many people knew him, just like SWG, are you going to argue that he's not good to me now? he must be as he is successful just like WoW. As we all know all successful things are good. They're all different because they're different kind of MMO's. Rift and WoW are the same kind of MMO as this game will be.

@wbubby I don't think my world is law. Just google "Why wotlk killed WoW" and you'll get endless pages of the facts you refuse to believe are there. Many game reviews show WoW as great because it's popular. That's how those kind of things work i'm afraid, and don't try and say otherwise, PC gamer gives a game they know will make money an 85% even if it turns out to be crap compared to a game that got 75% but was amazing. No a fraction of those 11.1mill play it bcuz there's no decent alternative.
