So good to hear and see Andy and Camel again after all these years. I used to go to their concerts at Hammersmith Odeon in London in the 70s and 80s. I now live in Canada but have all their CDs. Great music. Up with Genesis, Marillion and Barclay James Harvest. Long may progressive rock live on.
i saw them in 1980 in lisbon it was a fantastic concert, two years later they had to cancel the concert and i remember i was so mad about that...but it´s one of my favorite bands.
Oh man, I've been a fan since 1982 or so and was lucky enough to see them live twice, but they didn't play this song then and it's not something you come across easily (just one other vid that I can find in fact) so yeah, I'm very happy you posted it! Thanks for zooming in on Andy too; watching him play will never fail to make me happy. I'm afraid I choked up a bit (in a good way) at the end there :D
The guitar riff at the end of the original was a moment of perfect joy. Here Andy embellishes and extends the riff--you can see how much he's grown and suffered over the years. The emotion transcends the defects in tonal quality.
Great band alongside the other legends.

Saw them in Glasgow, Scotland in 1977 when the Rain dances album came out. They were amazing.
