@MagellansUnderwear Yeah very probably! This is an interesting topic - cos I used to bust my ass tryiing to eliminate it from my playing. But if you search on the ol' INterwebz and find some of the isolated bass tracks that you can find out there, you'll find that 'naked' they sound horrible (in terms of fret buzz, string noise, etc). But the minute you drop them into a mix the fret noise disappears. If it works for Flea, John Deacon, Sting and others....it's good enough for me!
@howtoplaybassdotcom Yeah I was just surprised to hear it, it's actually more of a compliment to the quality of recording you do hear than anything. sometimes fret buzz is unavoidable. You make some awesome videos, and my playing has come a long way since I subscribed. thanks for all your hard work!
@xelectrickissx3 Hey - good question. I've no objection to doing tutorials on just about anything - my constraint is time. And I have a request list that's as long as my arm....(love Teenagers though....)
I'd really like to learn this song but my bass stopped working in a weird way :-(.Can you please help me find the problem Paul?

@MrNorbi14 Ummm....a guitar technician or repair guy is probably the best man for the job.

would you consider doing a bass tutorial to a song by a modern band, like my chemical romance perhaps? :3
