  • they could have beat him down but it would have been a big fight, and they all would have wound up hurt and it's just easier to let him walk.

if there's anything to know about steve austin it's that he's gonna fight no matter what so it's just easier to leave him alone.

  • oh k, this is y d nwo turnd bad.. :P

  • beast hogan at 1:15

  • thats Stone Cold for ya!.....WHAT?!

  • Fucking Kevin Nash. If it wasn't for this power grabbing idiot, the WCW would have lasted longer. Stun them Austin for being themselves!

  • @DarkReapersGrim If it wasn't for them there wouldn't have been a WCW to watch. They made that company. There is a reason Kevin Nash got the biggest pop at the Royal Rumble. You are just a hater who's obviously read way too much garbage on the internet.

  • @tonyperkis615 I'm not a hater, monkey. I watched the WWF more than I did the WCW. I, like most people value competition so if one show sucks you could change the channel and watch the other. And the reason why they "made" that company was because they were grabbing for power. If you had the influence they (Hall, Hogan, and Nash) did, would you not give yourself more camera time as a wrestler? It's not surprising that the wrestlers who had the most influence also got the most coverage.

  • @tonyperkis615 WCW was a good company long before Hogan arrived.

  • The true dream match would have been Hogan vs. Austin. The 2 most popular of all time. Hogan/Rock was great but Austin would have been better.

  • @JoshVol182 agreed... it should've been austin; hogan and austin were really the two greatest icons of different eras. without austin, there would've been no rock.

  • What!!

  • Scott Hall looks like a gay garbage man.

  • Let the man through, brothers.

  • hogan needs to surgically implant that doo-rag think to his head, so he looks more like a guy who can move around and not like some old geezer. he looks seriously ridiculous all sweaty in the ring with his old bald head

  • @TheEpicBurp It's not a bald spot. It's a solar pannel for a sex machine.

  • Again, Austin drew nearly twice as much in the ratings department in 99 and 2000 then WCW ever did with the nWo from 96-98. In fact, the WCW was still drawing 3's in 96, around 4's in 97 and early 98, and high 4's, some low 5's in early 99. The WWF was pulling in 6's-8's in 99 to 2000 with Austin as the figurehead (Rock as well). This is fact, don't argue with it

  • @krazygreen Dude comparing WCW to WWF in terms of viewer-ship and brand recognition is like comparing the Royals to the Yankees. Their would have been no Austin without the NWO bro. They put wrestling back on the map. I mean the crowd was popping every time they destroyed Rock or Austin before mania. And Austin ONLY started wining the ratings after the original NWO separated. This storyline NWO vs Austin and Rock coulda been huge. But really all the blame goes to Hogan who wanted to turn face.

  • @ak47523 Please don't credit the oldies in the nWo looking for a grandiose payday by squashing everyone in their way to the resurgence of Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin built himself off the brow of the McMahon heel character post Screwjob. This has nothing to do with the nWo, & if anything, Vince stole his ideas from the original ECW in terms of "Attitude". To use your theory on another basis, the nWo was only credible because the main guys who started it made a name for themselves in the WWF

  • @krazygreen Dude people started watching wrestling because of the NWO.Vince took went rogue and made his program edgy to compete with them. Please don't mark it for ECW, I loved that program but in a lot of ways it ruined the psychology of the industry. Hit a guy with a chair five times he kicks out an than you small package him. And you contiue to prove my point...one of the reasons the NWO got over was because people saw and still see the WWF as more legit and therefore would always watch it

  • @ak47523 What good exactly did the nWo do for the business? It gave them a short term 2 year pop in the ratings, sold some t-shirts, and subsequently buried everyone in their way. Which ultimately by mid to late 99, turned the tides completely in favor of the WWF. They committed suicide by keeping the young up and comers down for years because of bullshit politics & guys who just couldn't let go of their spot in the business. They had nothing, NOTHING to do with Austin and Rock, the fans did.

  • @krazygreen Dude aren't these thinag where we have to type in the script so they know we are not bots suck!

  • more. The squashed everyone because they had to generate heat. But to finish out little discussion. Vince could have made the NWO even bigger. Thise five guys were the biggest stars of that era and that is def waht the fans wanted to see.

  • Comment removed

  • @ak47523 Right, that's why everytime they were on the mic, the crowd would chant "WHAT" in between each word or sentence. Come on, you really think Vince was going to bury the guy who saved from bankruptcy against the 3 guys who tried whatever they could to put him out of business? Sure money talks and business comes first, however there is a loyalty there from McMahon to Austin for leading what was the creation of new stars.

  • @krazygreen I completely agree that Rock and Austin were individually bigger stars than Hall and Nash, however collectively the NWO changed the business forever. Their would never have been a Rock or Austin without them. They brought the business out of the gutter. Even Vinnie Mac would admit that in private. Go look at which vidoes get the biggest rating number on YouTube their the NWO"s brother. Everyone was doing the "WHat" chant at that time.

  • @ak47523 Who gives a shit what gets more youtube hits? WCW is dead, it intrigues people to watch clips of them for nostalgic purposes. They were doing 3's and 4's, sometimes 5's in their peak. The WWF was putting in 6's on average and 7's and 8's. I'm sorry, but they didn't make or create anybody. They were washed up WWF talent that went to that money pit known as WCW to cash an easy check. Austin and Rock went through the down times and become more popular then the nWo ever was, period.

  • @krazygreen

Only evidence you need to people popped for it. Quit talking about ratings its comparing apples to oranges. But for the sake of argument you think that had the NWO not ever existed that Rock and Austin would have hit like that? Would have become that mainstream? No fucking way. No one was watching wrestling before they hit. The NWO made WCW a profitable company and wrestling cool again.

  • @ak47523 nwo made it cool for older kids (teens) to watch wrestling again. hall and nash revolutionized the industry... hogan solidified it once again. austin helped capitalize on it. rock was along for the ride and stayed with it well.

  • @drvn8 Yeah but I think you gotta add Vince McMahon into that equation. I mean he pushed Steve and Rock and sub sequentially the business.

  • @ak47523 true... and shawn michaels brought the push to vulgarity to vince's attention. in the same regard, eric bischoff would go in as well. nwo was his idea.

  • Look up The Rock gets branded by the NWO fast forward to the part when Hall hits the Rock. The crowd goes nuts. Razor and Diesel were washed up in May of 1996? What? WHat? Get the fuck outta here man. I agree they should have made stars other than Goldberg but the wrestling boom started with the NWO. Period.

  • @ak47523 Agreed that the nWo did make it cool again. Yeah it's annoying leaving multiple comments on youtube. Good debate my man.

  • @krazygreen Furthermore do you realize that the NWO came in four years after their prime to a new audience. People just don't recognize WCW like WWF and they cost Austin the belt and killed the Rock, kayfabe, in less than 24 hours and the crowd was fucking cheering for them. They killed the two biggest faces in WWF and the corwd is cheering for them. If you think that was all Austin and Rock than you're just lying to yourself. Vince killed it off because he realized how over they were.

  • @ak47523 You have no idea do you? The crowd at WM18 was so pro-Hogan, Rock looked like a mid-carder in comparison. Hogan then went on to win the belt from HHH and a ton of top guys in the company, even going over Vince's favorite Shawn Michaels at Summerslam. Nash was injured when he returned so what the hell would be the point of putting him over if he's hurt? By the time he returned, he was hurt again. Hall was a train wreck with too many inner demons. Put them over? The hell are you saying?

  • And I think Vince made the right decision in terms of loyalty, but business wise that thing could have gone on until the next Wrestlemania.

  • @ak47523 Austin and Rock were hot as ever when Hogan and Nash were failing week after week in WCW 2000, only to see the gap in the ratings widen. Their PPV buyrates at that point were horrible, and the WWF was still putting on marquee matchups pinning Austin with Rock garnering ten times if not more in buyrates and double in ratings and viewership. It was Austin and Rocky who made those 3 guys relevant again. Lets not get that twisted.

  • @krazygreen Dude again WCW in 2000 was not the NWO. Please do not compare that time period to 1996-1998. Are you fucking crazy relevant again? Watch the night in Chicago where the crowd goes bananas when Hall and Nash come out of nowhere and destroy the Rock. Or when the crowd chants Hogan instead of Rock. Sorry but in 2002 the NWO was more over than Rock and Stone Cold. Hell watch the Smackdown match between Nash vs Rock, that crowd goes nuts when Xpac, Hall and Nash beat up Hogan and The Rock

  • What?

  • wtf how can the wwe make the members of nwo look like shit i mean razor ramond deisal and hulk hogan with out them stone cold steve austin wouldnt hav a job man shit they r the originals

  • @pinoi78 were going through a recession keystones cheaper

  • Que?

  • Ok try to imagine Nash saying, "Toughest SOB in the World Wrestling Entertainment". Yeah, doesn't sound right.

  • no one fucks with stone cold!

    never is he someones bitch

  • I hate what WWE did to the NWo they ruined them, they shoud have kicked austins ass

  • @yultome You are fucking right man the WWE Ruined de nWo, they shoud have kicked Austin's little ass

  • @yultome They did during the main event. Austin did have a match later that night.

  • @yultome Nonsense. Austin in his prime was pulling in double the viewers, PPV buyrates, and gate attendance then the nWo in their peak. Stone Cold was bigger then anything those guys ever did in WCW and it's cold hard fact. No way the WWF was going to bury their top star.

  • @krazygreen that's not entirely accurate espcilly since WCW had the highest rated ppv of all time becasue of these guys, I'm not saying make stone cold look like a punk I dont mind him winning but dont make nwo look like pussies thats just horrible writing

  • @krazygreen Thats why they beat him from 1996-1998. Their wouldn't have been an attitude era without the NWO and I would bet that the NWO have sold more t-shirts over the years and Vince doesn't even sell them at all times.

  • Comment removed

  • shocked that Scott Hall didnt drink it before having a chance to give it to Stone Cold

  • So Austin went from Budweiser's (mid 2000's) to Keystone's (2011)?

    WHAT?!?

  • did someone miss there que?

  • 90 people aren't thirsty ether

  • stone cold sounds like a retarded baby

  • Off camera Scott Hall could be seen licking the beer off of the ground in an attempt to savor the small amount that was left. Also seen off camera was Nash tearing his quad after taking a step. Hogan was fine because he was in the back all day, brother.

  • @Psychology what a great comment!

  • Scott Hall actually got the beer for himself.

  • you wanna save it for later??

  • im suprised scott hall didnt keep it for himself

  • @TheGLOCK40cal

He probably picked it up after the camera went off.

  • 0:02 i have a deaf cousin that owns that same shirt...no joke...

  • @bighoz99

    GOD BLESS HIM

  • After the nwo left... stonecold came back for the beers

  • I met Scott Hall.

  • @LancerLV99 No shit

  • "I heard you drink a lot of beer."

    Same AA meeting I wager.

  • And i thought Stone Cold was like Hank Hill, would never throw beer away.

  • Who's idea was it to let Hall hold the 6 pack?

  • Yeah WWE dropped the ball on a lot of things in the past five years. Should have kept Kurt, The Hardys, not ruining ECW and Mr.Anderson.

  • they go back a long time. stupid how wwf fucked over wcw

  • I AINT THIRSTY!

  • Dammit austin!! ...that was good beer =(

  • Hall would know about people who like to drink beer.

  • surpise hall didnt drink that beer

  • I dont think wwf would've been ready for rapper cena during the attitude era coz eminem wasnt that popular yet

  • @pko322 Who gives a shit about Em, WWF is better than that Bitch!

  • did austin ever face hogan 1 on 1? at any time I mean not just this storyline

  • was this at no way out 02 before stone cold got jumped during his title match?

  • i love scott's face at the very end ROFL

  • LOL Nwo where one of the most feared groups in wrestling. Stone cold made them look like a bunch of bitches in under a minute

  • WHAT?

  • nwo was kinda being nice to stone cold but he showed an attitude lolz . they three could beat the hell out of stone cold lol but they left him lol . i never cared about stone cold aftet wrestlemania 13 after bret beated the crap out of him.

  • NWO ruled WCW unlike the WWE where they had to get rid of the attitude era because of mcmahon and his little PG for kids show. In the WCW they would've spray painted the NWO logo on the beer cans.

  • i missed steve's boldness

  • Nwo had no point in being in wwe

  • Aww, come on Stone Cold! The nWo was just being nice!! LOL : D

  • The NWO respect Stone Cold....lol

  • I hated HOGAN when he joined NWO...
