wow that mammoth needs to learn to run from little things something strange my friend was fighting a 2 mammoths and a giant and some dragon comes from no where and killed the giant and the 2 mammoths in the middle of the fight right when he was about to die and it flew away he didn't use a shout he cant it wont let him begin the main story everyone tried killing him he was a orc Alvaro tried killing him as soon as he saw him

When I was at broken tower redoubt and there was a legion of Forsworn, I summoned the dragon. Than another dragon came up and they fought it out for like ten minutes, barely doing any damage. It's like watching two ninjas trying to kill each other with spoons.

IF you want the shout just keep doing the main quest line and u will encounter it when u have to use it to capture a dragon, i think u have to beat game first

I used it when I was doing the quests for the Stormcloaks and when I attacked the forts I was calling Odahviing and it looked really awesome. It was like: I use the shout and the imperial said: "Ha! You've missed me, idiot." *The dragon comes* and the imperial: "Oh shit!".

@granthinkle1 The only words you get from the greybeards is all 3 for Unrelenting Force, Clear Skies and the first word from Whirlwind Sprint by doing the main quest the rest you have to find or the 4 factions quests. How ever the greybeards; when asked, will give you a quest marker to a word so you don't have to find it on your own. Be warned they will not show you all just most.

I'm going to make this as clear as I possibly can. There is a quest where you travel to the throat of the world to defeat Alduin. You use the Dragonrend shout to do that. Alduin fly's away before you can kill him. Then you need to call on one of his ally's to help you find him. You go ind the Elder Scroll to learn the Dragon Call shout. You call him and he will attack. Then you trap him in Dragonsreach and he flys you to a place to go to Alduin. After you defeat Alduin the final time u can use.

@crackswag1 it takes time for him to arrive... and as i recall it, he will be circling like all dragons, so you need to somehow draw his attention... the guards can also get his attention, but the easiest is to use Dragonrend, which you've got at this point.
