@cholulasaucehot - bavgoalie is NOT wrong. You didn't read the string of comments leading up to theirs. The string said Don Adams was the voice for both Tennessee Tuxedo and Inspector Gadget, and he was. imdb com/name/nm0010915/"
@clintonearlwalker Chumlee is a rare nickname. But whom knows maybe from now it's popularity will increase.. The only thing that i hate about the show, is how they mistreat Chumlee.. The fact that the poor Chumlee is a tad slow does not mean that they should mistreat him. On the contrary..
@flyby7a I've never been a fan of name calling either. I don't think I even know what Chumlee's real name is on Pawn Stars. When I was in elementary school my 5th grade teacher refered to one girl as "dunsel", infering she was a "dunce". He never used her real name. They would probably fire a teacher for that today.
So that's where Neil Armstrong got the idea, "Big first step", I guess that's 'one giant leap for Walrus Kind', lol. Did anyone else notice it sounded like the moon landing but was in this cartoon 6 years earlier ;)
Don Adams was warned going into Get Smart that he would be typecast for life if he did the show, and was offered a deal that gave him less money up front, but partial ownership of the show. He took the deal and did alright for himself.
@bavgoalie -YOU ARE WRONG !!!!!! Don Adams voiced tennessee tuxedo's character ONLY, and occasionally voiced the part of the small penguin who was not in many episodes...
That's from the 3-disc 'Underdog' set that was released in the 1990's. For some bizarre reason, all the opens were replaced. I sort of understand why they did it with the Underdog eps, they edited the 4 parts together into ONE seamless episode. But with the other features -- it doesn't make sense. (btw -- those of us who are 'purists' DON'T WANT the 4 parts edited into one ep. We want them as ORIGINALLY presented -- as 4 part episodes.)
FUCKING CLASSIC!! I luvved Chumley, he wuz so cute and had good voice work. And the late Smart (can't think of his name) as tenn tux had a perfect voice. Very funny stuff.
Thanks for posting this! I remember watching this as a kid, and was telling my own kids about the 3DBB, and how cartoons could actually be educational!
No, it portrays CHUMLEY as dim-witted. Recall, he's the only walrus we ever see in this show. (And considering he's at the Megopolis Zoo because he was found at the SOUTH Pole, there is some truth to that.) However, you can't say that's portraying ALL walruses as dim witted.
remember, whoever wants to buy the complete collection. its on amazon for pre-order and will be out in march.

The 3 dimensional blackboard today is called the Smart Board. That was 30 + years ahead of it's time.
Very innovative for a children's cartoon which I watched every week in the '60's.
