You could pass it off as either slash or brotherly love IMO.

I think what they did have was brotherly love and a good deal of sibling rivalry.

PD described the relationship as a brotherhood, like David and Jonathan. I wish we'd seen it reflected in more depth in the series.

Anyway, no one else warns of slashiness when they make B/A vids so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
