Basset hounds are the nicest dogs you'll ever meet, and seeing all these videos on youtube cheers me up as I lost my best friend of 11 years yesterday. He was a tri color basset, he had the most emotional eyes ever, and was diagnosed with lupus and liver cancer yesterday. His name was Buddy. He also sang with every different instrument played in our house: Clarinet, Piano, and Guitar.

What is truly amazing about this video is that the dog follows the tune almost exactly. The first note is slightly low, but the second note demonstrates almost perfect pitch. And copying the lower notes is amazing.

This dog is very intelligent and quite the singer.
