That whisphery harsh quality about her voice that can be heard in all phrases she does, I recognize that from a few friends of mine who sing, but what is the point of it? Is it consiously made or part of the untempered voice? Would really like to know, thanks.
i love this song. it's about being happy but somehow scared that the rug's going to be pulled out from under you. "I keep looking for the thing to bring me down...but not so far." very lovely. :)
