I appreciate both of these games for their Eastern European charms. I don't think anyone can make fantasy RPGs of this type like those developers can. What they do need to work on is getting the western polish down. Some day games like this will be perfect.

OK first off this person is a complete idiot gothic beat two worlds in everything except armor maybe but gothic is maybe one of the most realistic RPGs i have ever played and it has a way better history of games two worlds on the other hand is a peace of shit with a choppy fighting system so i say my opinion is better than yours cuz it is the truth
Ingame life: GOthic wins. The game is really based on choises u make, and a feature I like about the Gothic series is the realistic NPC-Player relation: for example, u can't draw a sword inside citys, and if u start slashing around, and hit someone, everyone starts attacking you. This way, one must always watch out what he does, and when. The non-linear story and many choises in Gothic 3 also are something really unique, I have seen this in no other game so far. Gothic 3 wins for me. :D
I don't think You have played Two Worlds, because the example you gave can also happen in two worlds. It also has all the choices and open world non-linear story stuff too.
I didn't play Two Worlds but i played Gothic III and I can honestly say that it's nothing if we compare it to Gothic I/II ;)

Two Worlds & Gothic both My favourite PC RPG ! :D The best Gothic was the first & the second, also I better like the second, new Two Worlds as the the first TW. :-)
Gothic has the best fighting system ever thought of. It's unususal and weird at first, but when you get used to it it is the only natural thing to do. But for christ sake don't compare Gothic 3 to anything. Gothic 1 is the masterpiece.
2 worlds is a good game once you get into it its just that two worlds u carnt walk always running and it feels like its been rushed but other than that good game sadley i havent played gothic 3 but that looks intresting aswell

I love Two Worlds, I enjoy it much more than Oblivion. I dont care what anybody says. It might be less polished, and it might have horrible voice acting. But the game has a sense of humor, the world is very immersive, and it's challenging and rewarding. Oblivion offered none of the above. It was a big empty world, full of robotic people with same voices..I simply didn't care for anything.
I would just say that you and 90% of players dont know how to fight in gothic 3 and it takes them 5x more time than using a little of their brain to combine their own tactics against each type of opponent... I played both games, and i think they both are very nice, but the truth is one and only: gothic 1, gothic 2 beats them surely

I come from the Polish and writing this comment from a dictionary, so there may be language mistakes. I played both games and probably will choose the third Gothic But Two Worlds is available, and multiplayer is a big plus. But although it certainly Arcania: Gothic 4 together with the Two Worlds 2 surpass those titles.
Well, i think that music and graphic is better in g3, story line is totally average in both games, but i had so much more fun with Two Worlds. I am dissapointed, because g1 and g2 was a masterpieces.

Gothic is better. because the TwoWorlds is spam. On this clip gothic images have been worse without it, and upload a twoworlds when fighting with swords that color sucks.
Why would you pick the Wolf Clan as your place to compare in-game life? That's the deadest place in the game, whereas places like Ishtar, Mora Sul, or Montera have all sorts of stuff going on.
I only played gothic 3 and was hoping to find a good open world rpg game but after I fight my first enemy in game I felt like with my every sword swing I was cutting a cloth and could not feel like fighting realy... Gothic has the best fighting system ever thought of. It's unususal and weird at first, but when you get used to it it is the only natural thing to do. But for christ sake don't compare Gothic 3 to anything. Gothic 1 is the masterpiece.

I love Two Worlds, I enjoy it much more than Oblivion. I dont care what anybody says. It might be less polished, and it might have horrible voice acting. But the game has a sense of humor, the world is very immersive, and it's challenging and rewarding. Oblivion offered none of the above. It was a big empty world, full of robotic people with same voices..I simply didn't care for anything.

I would just say that you and 90% of players dont know how to fight in gothic 3 and it takes them 5x more time than using a little of their brain to combine their own tactics against each type of opponent... I played both games, and i think they both are very nice, but the truth is one and only: gothic 1, gothic 2 beats them surely

I played both games and probably will choose the third Gothic But Two Worlds is available, and multiplayer is a big plus. But although it certainly Arcania: Gothic 4 together with the Two Worlds 2 surpass those titles.

I only played gothic 3 and was hoping to find a good open world rpg game but after I fight my first enemy in game I felt like with my every sword swing I was cutting a cloth and could not feel like fighting realy... Going to try two worlds today. I wonder is there any other class other then warrior in. I havent seen any in videos
