Every time i watch this video i promise myself that i won't watch AI ever again! That was the probably the best vocals we've heard all season long, and apparently it's not enough for the wild card? Stupid, shameful decision by the production.
I love Kendra and her voice, it was amazing, what Casey did was just SO PERFECT I can't say, but she was GREAT too! Can't see the point of Kendra being eliminated, so sorry!
In my mind, they should have eliminated all of the men. If a man can't make it on his own, with all the advantages men have going thru the nightclub and touring scene, he probably doesn't deserve to be in the business. Some of the guys were good this year, but the women were in a different league. I would love to have seen a contest between Haley, Lauren, Naima, Thia, Pia, and Kendra.
Kendra is a good singer...but this is not Top 13 material..is better that she stays in that position because if she was picked up....she will end like Ashton....I'm not being rude with her....actually she has a pretty voice but lacks Top 13 material......So for me...She deserved to being cutted.......

I liked the performance. I really did but there were several things wrong with it.
It started too low to understand her then she had to wait for the big notes to make the song interesting. At the end of the song, she had three parts where it ended but the music never stopped playing. I think she knew this based on her interview afterwards where she said she wasn't sure how it went. The ending took a lot away from the performance because of her expression and her uncertainty.
Hmm This is proof it was fixed, You can see how hard the judges were trying not to react, and the look in their eyes showed you how much they really loved the performance, nobody could contain themselves after this performance man thats why she got a standing ovation. I knew someone who was on one of these types of shows, she killed it for the final 12 and everyone KNEW she was in, however she was a 40 y.o mother of 5 and they went for the 16 y.o to cover tht demographic. She was told this too!
i hope she continues to pursue her career cause damn her voice has so much soul and power to it. like haley, she can do anything with that voice! and yeah biggest rob ever, aside from haley not making it to the top 2, fuck lauren.

I have no clue why people are hating on Ashton. I don't think she has an attitude problem at all. I think it's a misconception that the judges gave off. She was cheering excitedly and crying when Pia performed, that is not an attitude problem or diva-like.
I think when she performs, she has swagger and confidence, which is perceived as "diva" and "attitude" to some people. That said, Kendra should've gone through based on this performance. I think the choices were pre-determined though.
ashton definitely have no chance of surviving the first elimination but after this performance kendra definitely can stay in the competition for quite a while!

Kendra should have been chosen for the wild card spot rather than both Ashton & Naima . That is my opinion, anyway!

I agree with sultan1122 singing isn't all about belting notes. I loved hearing Kendra's lower register. In fact, I enjoyed the whole performance and wish she was picked to move on...

seriously. Those "new" judges messed up from the beginning. She is amazing. Those saved already gone. It's a crying shame. However, I think we will see more of her - I hope we do. I LOVE her voice.

After hearing this, i cannot believe she did not make it..... Playing favorites is understandeable to a certain extent, but this was unbelievable. The Wild Card selection was a total mess. FIrst time I missed Simon.

why didnt they pick kendra ashton was not strong enough to last long and she was eliminated first different then kendra but I think the reason they picked her over kendra was so a fan favorite or someone with talent would not go first

I think the reason why the judges didn't choose kendra is because they wer thinking that it was easy for kendra to be discovered without using AI. they just want to give the losers a chance, so they can have a shining moment on their lives too. but, it's still unfair. :|

I was glad she got picked for the Wild Card round but was sorry to see her leave. I enjoyed hearing her lower register and the whole performance in general. If she releases an album, I'll buy it. Love her voice. I would've picked her over Ashton honestly. Ashton just hasn't been performing to her whole potential.

I cant believe they picked Ashton & Naima over her...she was the best girl & Jovany should have made it too.....I bet Jennifer picked Stefano, Randy picked Ashton & Steven felt sorry for Naima cause she cried so he picked her....which really sucks..i think it should have been Stefano, Kendra & Jovany...judges got it wrong again!!!!

I have no clue why people are hating on Ashton. I don't think she has an attitude problem at all. I think it's a misconception that the judges gave off. She was cheering excitedly and crying when Pia performed, that is not an attitude problem or diva-like.
I think when she performs, she has swagger and confidence, which is perceived as "diva" and "attitude" to some people. That said, Kendra should've gone through based on this performance. I think the choices were pre-determined though.
