I have the Schutt ion 4D, shcutt DNA, and the Riddell Revolution speed. The speed is by far more comfiterable and has a wayyy better line of sight that the other 2!!!
NFL players don't get the helmets for free. There's no agreement of that nature at all. It's the official helmet of the NFL due to royalty licenses they pay for to sell the collectible helmets with team decals on them. Players and the players equipment managers choose Riddell helmets just like they choose what socks to wear. It's the player's head so they ultimately have the last say in how to protect it.
i dont get why everyone loves the revolution.. LOOK WHAT THEY ARE TESTING IT AGAINST! a traditional shell, with foam padding. test it against a real helmet like the advanced schutt helmets or xenith helmet. which use skydex padding and not crappy foam, and you will see the truth about revo helmets. they dont even COMPARE to schutt helmets or xenith. espically the new ion 4d which i have

they are REVOLUTION helmets by the way. EVOLUTION is a series of RIDDELL'S shoulder pads.
