  • Not so bad as long as there is no Hail in it.

  • is that rain or snow?

  • @MsIvargas Rain, the temperature was about 85 degrees F.

  • AndyJay15, umm in winter in UK and Southern half of Australia does get squall with showers or storms from cold air cumulonimbus but sometimes can be much stronger squall. It is much worse than summer time due to vigorous cold pool behind vigorous cold front. Although most last short time due to fast moving showers and storms.

  • Wow amazing storm! Amazing! What were those winds clocked at?

  • Elk City. Should have known. ;)

  • Nice video, I'd love to storm chase even though that's probably not what your intending on this video.

What were the wind speeds? Looks pretty strong.

  • The wind speeds where I was observing were probably around 50 mph tops, however in the storm they were much higher.

  • @randy946 Wow, really strong considering they are consistant. Get nothing like that over here in the UK.

  • There's nothing like a good old high plains storm in the USA. Great chase country with few trees. Maybe you can visit some spring and see a couple of big storms out there yourself.

  • @randy946 Would love to do that when I'm older :)

  • Able to see this awesome high-winds' big Tstorm, my good ''reminisce-buddy''.... excellent viewing of near right where you live. since I've joined BROADBAND...whattahhh huge difference in such awesome Tstorm/tornado video viewings.....

  • The Telephone Poles are still standing.

    Call me "Unimpressed".

    *just joking*

  • Great job. Did you have the car anchored down good?

  • Yeah, a couple of old farts threw out an anchor and rode it out!
