I have a buddy JD Penrod who won this a few years ago when WORCS first started. He said it's a blast to ride! Destry Adams was riding then. Two strokes rock the Casbah!!

@TheSacredKier unfortunatley he wrecked on a jump practicing during the opening round of the 2011 series. it broke his neck and killed him. It was deff a sad day for the whole motorcycle community. he will be missed.

@conrail192 he died where i live and it was one of the simplest jumps out there and it was just a freak thing and we had a honor lap that all the pro's did and and KC took nathans son around the track to honor his dad

how does one get into or qualify for worcs racing?

@Amacdojoo i think its a ladder process, good 450 or 250 finishes will get you in higher classes to pro2 which then i believe you have to get top 3 overall or win so many races to step up to pro, not positive tho

well it seems that certain dirt bikes are the best on certain terrains

KTM-desert and rough terrain

Yamaha- like motocross tracks

Kawasaki-non really just a loud show off bike

Suzuki- red soft dirt type places

Honda- idk

@328Motocross The brand of bike makes no difference... It's all in the rider. no matter what anybody says. yes the way suspension and engines are set up does help, but you can take any color bike and set them up the exact same way.

Exactly, by the time the factories have changed the suspension, tripple clamps, wheels, worked the engine, steering dampners, handlebars etc...the bikes are hardly like the original anyway...it's all down to personal choice, i've been riding Hondas for years but this year (2011) i am changing from red to orange, 450EXC, such a sweet ride....especially for us 40plus year olds....

@conrail192 at these lvls yes, but when u buy 1 for the dealer there is a difference between bikes. and there is a diiference between bikes in pure endure. yamaha is know in enduro as a cheap bike bc they just dont last. while ktm is big in enduro bc 1. they hav probaly the best riders( taddy blazusiak) and 2. ther reliable

Because that's what Kurt's riding. Put him on a Yamaha, and my money says he'll still win a lot. Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, Yamaha...they're all great bikes. That being said, I like my KTM.
