hes still damn good though....most of the greats in todays playing come from Finland....its sad that American players are going down the shitter....its a sad day when americans think that synister gates and zacky vengeance are gods.....and think that deathcore bands like Job For A Cowboy are 'technical'. All sounds the same to me.

It realy weird that he is still 23 on this video. His tecniques are perfect here, and he plays licks and riffs of Winterheart's Guilt (Sonata Arctica's third album)

Jani plays guitar since he was 12, and his techniques are perfect since he was 17/18 (Tricky Means -> Sonata Arctica). This video was recorded after the record of Winterheart's Guild so he was 23 here. ;)

i think young guitar wanted them to tune to E standard. Like in the Alexi young guitar vids. Alexi plays in E standard on those videos when he normally plays in D standard.
