Yes it is Stan and they recorded that as a trio called "Lips" back in Februar '72. Shortly later the band split up and George read an ad in a famous music magazin...
6 years later some of that demos ends up in different version on Peters Soloalbum, this time Penridge played only guitar and Criss sang them all.

Stan Penridge was Peter's sidekick for songwriting. Vinnie Poncia was the producer Kiss brought in to help them sound Disco after this album.
This IS Peter Criss in his Pre-Kiss band, Lips.

This is not a peter criss demo (this is not peter criss ) this is just one of the songs that peter used for his solo album. this along with tossin and turnin were songs that were originally done by other artists. peter simply paid tribute to these artists by using these songs on his album. ace and gene did the same on their solo albums. ace did new york groove and gene did when you wish upon a star.
