  • I love this band, but honestly they suck live, boring perfornance and 0 connection with the crowd

  • His concert for conditions of my parole was really good. I was not disappointed for my first concert to see Maynard. But yeah I agree it was near impossible to record the show do to nazi police

  • ida had a fucking heart attack if theyda played this in Charlotte!!!

  • faggots complaining about the most annoying things aren't real fans so go listen to your crappy music.

  • Maynard is a Boss...!!!

  • sometimes they tune down a half step live for the singer. nin does it sometimes now and so does janes addiction. much like myself, these guys are getting old! nothin but love to em for still doin it!

  • Weeping shades of indigo. Where the fuck was that part, not there best version. Sure glad they are still touring.

  • I saw tool in 2009 (or 08, it was for the last tour), and they played about 9 songs, and after a 2 hour 9 song set, I was happy. I don't care what songs they play, it's tool! They will play different songs to change it up, and since they are a 20 year old band I dont expect them to be able ot pull off Sober or Schism anymore like they did. Amazing show though, you get lost in the lights

  • they didn't play this in Boston :( i was waiting for it and they went right into Ænema from Lateralus.

  • Maynards struggling with those highnotes. glad i didn't shell out cash and a cardrive to see this shit.

  • I'm suprised you got this on video. Maynard is a tyrant when it comes to fans getting video of his live shows. I can believe Maynard is a shit. He treats his fans as such. This band sounds good live but I don't live Maynard's communist attitude.

  • get your dame head out of the way, i cant see danny

  • I'ma tell you some real shit about Maynard. I work in the entertainment industry in Philly, and have dealt with Maynard at Tool and A Perfect Circle shows here in town, and there is NO ONE in this business who treats their crews with more disrespect and contempt than he does. He is well-known for cutting his crew's pay and is the only one I have ever met who has refused to feed his own roadies who work 18-hour days supporting him. And no other band's fans are told they aren't allowed to mosh.

  • @tmccarthy215 I was at the Denver show last year and the crowd was one big "mosh pit", which is all well and good, the 300 pound drunks are allowed to have fun too. But it distracts from the music and there were more than a few smaller people who either gave up their spots up front or risked getting trampled. By the way, if he treated his roadies like shit, Billy Howerdel would't be playing giant fucking arenas. If you're a venue guy, how can you speak for the audience and the crew?

  • @tmccarthy215 thanks for the gossip dude it makes you sound like a reliable source for this kind of thing

  • @tmccarthy215 i honestly don't believe that because lets just say for kicks and giggles this lie your telling us is true. There is honestly no way Billy Howerdell of APC and the rest of the members of tool would sit by and just let that happen. Maynard is the singer but there's no way anyone of his band members would tolerate that.

  • tool owns bottom line!!

  • OH MY GOD HAHAHA I LOVE IT WHEN PEOPLE TRY TO COMPARE OTHER SHIT TO TOOL. ha nice try

  • WHATCHA TALKING ABOUT........ YOU MUSTA BEEN HIGH

  • Justin cut his hair:(

  • Just got back from the Toledo show.. I wonder why they didn't perform "The Pot" at the show I was at.... I was really looking forward to it. But, "46 and 2" kicked some major ass!!! Awesome vids, thanks for uploading!

  • They are doing a lot of the songs that my band currently has in our set list. :) Guess we did a good job picking.

  • @EagleEye193

I did some lighting and sound for the recent Guns'n'Roses show....and Mr.Nose in the air Axel comes out and plays from 10:30-1:30am!! 3 STRAIGHT HOURS

Concert tickets are not cheap!...so if Tool comes out and only plays for 1hr 38min i have every right to complain you fuck

  • @Toolmybass okay you are bringing a total new argument out there. i agree that the shows are a little short but i was speaking of a different aspect which you do not seem to be able to explain to me. and thx for insult my friend!

  • @Toolmybass shut the fuck up you retarded fag!

  • @lateralsx7 Another dumb fuck who has NO videos of his own...you are nobody...go fuck yourself

  • @Toolmybass Just curious bro, since your such a big fan you should already know they play short sets. They always play short sets. Why pay to see them if you know your just going to be disappointed and whine about it all over the internet? Also who wants to see Guns n Roses for 3 hours?

  • @iiHATEyourFACE

    First off "bro"

-im never disappointed to see Tool play. I live in an area that i can see them more than once during a tour. Now if i lived in say... Oklahoma and i waited for 5 years to see them play, they dont sell dvd's and come out and play for an hour and a half? I would probably be a little disappointed

If you pulled your head out of your ass, you would have realized that G'n'R was an EXAMPLE...there is about 100 more bands that i can list that play for 2hrs or more bro

  • @iiHATEyourFACE

Why is it douches like you that sign up to YT for the sole purpose of leaving comments?... you can watch vids without having an account.

I leave ONE comment on YT about Tools short set-lists and you comment..."Whine all over the internet"?...Go fuckyourself you in-bred piece of shit.

Why leave un-educated comments, when you have no idea wtf you are talking about?

  • ummm i do appreciate it

in fact so much i have tickets for 2 nights in a row next week. Some people in the "Tool community" call him Gaynard for his weirdness

I also go to ALL of the APC and Puscifer shows, whenever they come around. :-P

  • Sounds like Justin has dropped the br-2 in favour of the Mxr BEF- the solo has a totally different feel! Still awesome all the same!

  • @TopHatTapes

They played this song the first leg of the 2006 Tour and then didnt touch it until, July 19th 2010 at the Nokia Center in L.A

They dropped the WHOLE tuning for just this song and actually used different guitar and bass from their main axes to make it easier for Gaynard to sing the song.

This is the ONLY song that isnt done in the original tuning.

  • @Toolmybass

Hey man come on, you don't need to call Maynard gay...at least Maynard is still with Tool. He could be sitting on his Arizona property making wine and relaxing, but he CHOOSES to continue to do music for the fans. Appreciate it, bro...

  • @Thejaycefish I dont know specificaly what you're responding to, but i completely agree with you, but i must point out, he literally is gay, uknow?

  • @Toolmybass you so called "fans" are nervewrecking! they play different songs in this tour because you were complaining about the same setlist every time! now you are complaining about the different tuning in those different songs! you cannot be fucking serious.

  • @EagleEye193 They are playing in different tuning?

  • @EagleEye193 It's not different tuning, it's still Db.

  • @nedak well sorry then toolmybass talked shit and i believed it :(

  • @nedak Original is in D

  • @seanlee1969 -- Maynard is now 47. He doesn't want to ruin his voice on the first night of the tour. He's been dropping some of the real high pitched lyrics for years now, like near the end of Vicarious. Sometimes this means singing it in a lower key, sometimes it means not singing it at all. I'm still happy just to see the original band. The music and the visuals are amazing.

  • Obviously MJK's monitor or audio feed wasn't working during this song. I was there and I remember thinking...why is he singing this in a different key than the rest of the band is playing? Ah well, the rest of the concert was perfect!

  • @seanlee1969 - singing in a different key has nothing to do with equipment. writing 3 albums for pusicifer, drinking lots of wine, and the obvious, aging, has more to do with it. I imagine it's difficult to take 5 year breaks between albums and playing the material. It feels to me that he's been mentally and emotionally else where for a while now :(

  • they've dropped it down on purpose

  • Okay, so the rest of the songs seem fantastic, but... What key does Maynard think this song is in? He goes off a LOT, and you can really hear it next to Adam.
