  • ownage. 3 people tried to stop him on that one.

Tmac? lol. Miller? GTFO. Oyedegi? who?

  • One of his hardest dunks!!!.....EVER!!

  • damnit why did kobe have to get old now that hes OLDER not OLD he cant dunk like this nemore cuz hes afraid of knee injury :(

  • he dunks all the time what are you talking about.

  • GOAT commentator.

  • Well maybe not murdered, but I mean he did get the better of Lebron. he held him to 9 of 25 shooting. and also it wasn"t just the fadeway. Lebron had no answer for Kobe, almost every posession in the 4th quarter Kobe scored on him. Also FYI Kobe was sick.

  • i'd take 2000-2003 Kobe over anybody today....

  • What about 2005-2009 Kobe?

  • 2005-2009 Kobe is too soft...u see him during pre-game and post-game laughing and even during games sometimes he's like that...

he's lackadaisical on defense now,...and more importantly,...never shows up for big matchups against Lebron or Wade....today's Kobe just passes by and lets the best opposing player outscore him...

Young Kobe would've stepped up to that challenge and torch anyone who challenges him.....like MJ did....which is why he is the best...

  • i think what you say is somewhat true, except for your reasoning. He is more relaxed, because he isn't as young and as energetic as he used to be. He has matured a lot, and it shows in how he acts. And the reason he gets outscored by Lebron and Wade is because thats what he needs to do to win. Statistics show that the Lakers do better when the ball is spread around. The Cavs need Lebron to score. I think in most ways the new Kobe is better, but lost his great athleticism.

  • I know he's not young anymore but he's lost some of his ruthlessness on offense/defense... MJ even during the 96-98 yrs was destroying his opponents and he was a mature player by then already....but he never lost his killer instinct to go out there and outperform the opponent

yes it's true that the Lakers play better when the ball is spread around, but that doesn't mean Kobe can't put up big games against the Lebrons/Wades...MJ did it against opposing players 'within the triangle'

  • Yeah I can't argue about MJ since I never saw him play except on the Wizards. Kobe obviously has the ability to put up big numbers whenever he once, he just doesn't feel the need to for some reason. Maybe he just doesn't have something fueling him to be better than everyone else. Something he used to have in his younger days. But we can't argue with the fact that he is bringing the Lakers to a new level of success.

  • Kobe doesnt try to show up lebron or wade is because he doesnt have to. They are the one that has to prove themselves to him b/c they are trying to catch up to him, not the other way around.

  • Yeah well some people think Lebron already has for some reason. But hes got the rings, so until Lebron does, people needa shut up.

  • Well, i think the nba is just trying to hype up wade and lebrons. they always seem to get foul calls their way. neways, if you ask the players themselve, all the players that are actually playing today would say kobe is the best right now.

  • Yeah well now its getting a little bit more of Lebron hype, its all marketing though. Lebron is becoming the face of the NBA, which isn't a problem. He is a great spokesman, other than the handshake thing, but hes a great guy. He is one of my favorites, but hes not better than Kobe.

  • @khoi606 Trying to Catch up? Lebron Is Basically Caught Up and he's Only 7 Years Ahead

  • @KingAndBird for lebron to catch up to kobe he has to one of course win multiple titles, Prove that he is a great leader, score about 30,000 something points once kobe retires, go through bad times 2 get to good times, and win multiple mvp trophys for the all star and finals.

  • @cookieacdc24 Kobe has 1 MVP title. Lebron has 2 . Kobe has 27k Points. Lebron has 20k. he is going threw bad times right now. he will get his first title soon. And he has already proven that he is a great leader. He brought the cavs to the playoffs every year and the year he leaves . they have the 3rd to worst record. means he carry a team. so lebron is close to kobe.

  • @KingAndBird yea those are regular season mvps. kobe wins mvps amongst the nbas best players and lebron does too but kobe has won finals mvps as well. lebron is actully at 17,000 points, and kobe is at about 28,000 points. yes, lebron was a great leader in clevelend but now being on a team with bosh and wade he needs to prove he can be a great leader. and if he wins the title next year or 2 years then you can prettty much say he is close to kobe. but as of today he is not yet there.

  • That's ot true he murdered Lebron when they played both times this season.

  • I'd say 2002-2007.

  • Retaliated is an understatement.

This is a crazy dunk, top 10 of Kobe's dunks for sure.
