It is more close combat then... close combat is hard: You'll need a good computer (or intenett to get the pictures in time) and human reflexes.

Sometimes I get all shaky when I survive in this kind of games in near combat. It is so intense!

The red dot was designed for all distances without losing contact with the enviroment and very high accuracy it is handy for assaults but defends are most likely done with the arog scope which is the same principe only this is more area defending with losing control of the enviroment around the scope.

this is just my opinion but i think the red dot sights look stupid as hell on any of the guns in cod4 except for the m16, m4 and maybe the g36c... they just dont flow well with the shape of the gun. i also concure on acog bein shitty, i wont use it on any of my guns, tho the skorpion is tempting.

I think AK loses some of its stopping power if you use red dot sight on it, so its generally better to use ironsights on ak.

this seems to be the case also with RPD machine gun.

But yes, the red dot sight doesnt function, at all. But guns dont work ingame the same way they do irl, which makes it more efficient in game. Its not about red dot being different, and if i recall correctly, my original comment wasnt about red dot being different irl, it was about the popularity of red dot sights.

Well, yes your right they are BB guns and No they are not meant to kill, but you could hurt some one if you shoot them in the wrong place. Some Police and Military use Airsoft guns to train for Combat Situation, because it's less Dangerous, Cheaper, and still provides a high LV of realism.

a question i keep asking myself is if deep penetration adds more damage to the gun?

no only the ability to do more damage than usual when bullets go through a wall

for example: if u shoot the AK through a wall without deep penetration it'll take like 15 rounds before the enemy dies but with deep penetration the bullets 'speed' doesn't decrease as much as usually so the bullet does more damage but it doesn't make the bullets more powerful in any way

They do but this is naturally how none native french speaking people sound. Old habits are hard to kick. Just go talk to an immigrant, they know perfect english but it just sounds weird coming from them since their tongue isn't used to used to the language.

But there are also some people like me who have no problem speaking different languages. In my case I traveled around a lot so picking up the accent of a different language was fairly easy, so when I speak another language I sound native.
