  • "Dater" is how the word "data" is pronounced in some British accents, so I'm gonna let that one slide just this once.

  • 1:22 ray wok, mister riger...hurr!!

  • Evely pratfolm oplateng 90% accratey accodeng to the simration datur

  • YUR THARING ME APART LISA

  • @Larfe517exe What a story.

  • i like that an anime puts the effort to speak in a different language when they are in a different country

  • Simulation datur.

  • Dater.

  • Beard-man...who I will call "Commander Riker" or "Number One" from now on sounded pretty decent.

  • Great work, Mr. Liger! HURRRRRRRRRR!

  • This just proves the awesomeness of the Mic Sounders brothers, they are able to rock out their music in the VACUUM OF SPACE!

  • Did anyone else hear "Motha-..." during 1:15 through 1:16?

  • Simlation dater.

  • unlike most "English" attempts in Japanese animes where the voice actors were actually trying, this one is actually plain hilarious and I laughed and facepalmed every time I see it.

  • Dater. xDD

  • That bearded guy sounds like Zoidberg.

  • oh god thats it no japanese voice actor can never do english unless they can get rid of their accent and can prounounce the L sound...........

  • Sounds more like German than English at some parts.

  • fyy-urrrrrrr!!!!

  • data sounded like dater to me

  • 1:16/1:17 did i hear someone about to say Mother Fu or is just me ?

  • greay work, misar riyah, HURRR

  • Would it have cost anything to hire a couple american students studying in tokyo?

  • @ 0:58

    LOL

  • their dater is well founded upon

  • "Great work, Mr. Riger! HURRRR!"

  • That wasn't half bad. I mean, you could actually make out the words.

  • The dude with the beard who said something about a test fire didn't sound half-bad in my opinion.

  • MISTER RIGER

  • wow lol when japanese people try to speak english the sound french for some strange reason

  • sowtary rave wusers, puss to suface.

  • Half of those guys sound French for some reason.

  • LOL

  • Its pretty bad when they HAVE to subtitle English with English

  • @JerichoKru I wouldn't know about that...considering American TV habit of subtitling *Australians*...

But this one totally needs subtitles. That's some mangled English pronounciation right there!

  • @JerichoKru Eh, it sounds pretty good to me. Then again, in Les Miserables they had a character played by a japanese girl who was able to fluently speak english.

  • what... why couldn't they just do this scene in japanese, lol?

  • I'm sure I would butcher japanese something fierce if I tried to speak it, but this still made me LOL.

  • Acusi fird oshileitu pirfirbah activeity

  • At least their grammar is good...it's just...their pronunciation XDD

  • @YuushaKaiser

    the grammar ISNT good

    not for NASA SCIENTISTS anyway

  • Great work, Mister Liger. HURR

  • "test Fay-Ur'

  • LOL "every patform opperating 90 pershent acurrating according to teh simulation datur"

its cute how they pronounce it XD

  • "Every platform operating 90% acuraty according to the simulation dater."

  • I never understood why they never got Americans for these kinds of bits.

  • Because foreigners are scary!

  • GREAT WORK, MR LIGER. HURRR

  • Either those guys are all wasted and have mouths full of mashed potatoes, or we've got some Engrish lulz on our hands here. Absolutely sure its the latter, but you never know.

  • You know, anime's taught me something. I don't wear enough American Flags. I must not truly be American. Perhaps I'm secretly Canadian!

    ... IN AMERICA!!

  • The guy who said "every platform execute test fire" didn't sound TOO bad, he managed to imitate the American accent well. It's just he sounded like a synthesizer with his punctuation and syllable stressing.

  • Comment removed

  • It sounded like someone was about to say Mother Fu-- and just got cut off at 1:16-1:17

  • @Divineorder21 i think some one did

  • e for effort XD

  • "According to the simulation dater" lol..

  • I wonder if they know how bad they sound.

  • I KNOW their are Japanese people who can speak English with out this hilarious dialogue, so WHY!

Don't get me wrong I love this scene.

  • I don't know whats funnier, the fact that its supposed to be americans in this scene, or the fact they're dubbed by japanese.
