Hi Gus, I'm Sue, Cliff's younger sister and Cliff, the scout master's daughter. I remember talking to you when you would come for scouting events. Cliff has two daughters and I have a son and a daughter. Do you have kids?
Gus, thanks for the kind words about my dad-Cliff. My brother told me about the video so I had to check it out. It brought back a lot of good memories. Dad really was a great guy who touched many people's lives. I think of him every day. Audubon still is a great town. I teach there and love it. Good to see you!
Great video, Gus! I can relate, because I'm from your hometown of Audubon, NJ. Dennis Bou here - AHS class of '67. I just tried to post a comment, but it didn't post. Have enjoyed many of your videos, especially the ones relating to Audubon ... still my favorite town! Keep 'em coming, Gus, because people are watching! Talk to you soon.
You've had a very interesting life Gus. I like hearing what you have to say. You are right about the past - it was better than today where most of us don't get to know our neighbors that well. Like you, I kept in touch with one of my teachers until recently. She hasn't returned correspondence like she used to so it may be that she has passed away. Thinking about that - I should send a card again and see what happens. I hope you have a great day Gus.
You're a great story teller, Gus. Amazing how you tell a tale without a lot of "and uhs" as I would do. I really like your little Mark Twain snippets from the past. You've got that Irish gift of gab! Keep telling more!
