@cashness01 CK3 Lite is only COM. If you don't have a COM Port on your computer, then you need to buy either a CK3i or a CK3 Pro. Also, for a LiteOn you need a Probe v3.

@LuvTheHatas Well no, the only way you will be banned for switching drives is if you have 2 different drives.

For example: If your Xbox came with a BenQ Drive, and you swap it with a Samsung, you will be banned.

You need to get the exact same type of drive, take the keys from your old one, and put it on the new one.

@2099mrspidey You don't have to push BenQ unlock, it'll say 0251c or BenQ in the left side.

If it says 0251c it's a LiteOn.

Anything else is not.

my xbox360 has lite on written all over it, but the wires undernieth are white not yellow, (white indicating BenQ not Liteon). 2nd , if i were to hook up my drive and jungleflasher automaticly picked up the key am i good to go. 3rd, if i have the key do i need to probe it, and does anyone know of a substatute CK3 probe i might be able to buy at a futureshop or the source..ect, or is this a rare type of specialty item, im having a hard time finding this item even on ebay. thanx for any help

@2099mrspidey Okay let me try to answer your questions in order.

1.) If the wire is white, it's a BenQ. If it has LiteOn Written on it, you have to find out by hooking it up to your computer.

2.) If you get your drive detected and you get your drive, you can flash it.

3.) If you end up having a LiteOn, you need a probe to get the key.

4.) You don't NEED to get a Team-Xecuter Probe, as long as it does the same thing as the Team-Xecuter probe.

Also, if you're gonna be powering it with your Xbox you may get flagged, so take that as a warning.

@CAPRICES4LYFE The X360USB Pro doesn't have a Molex Power. The X360USB Pro is only for SATA for users who don't have it built in, or PCI Card, or are Running Mac OS X.

The CK3i/Pro/Lite is to Power the Drive and get it into vendor mode/mode B.

Normally if you put a burnt game into an xbox, it will simply not show up or just act as a DVD movie. IF anyone wants to take over from here and give a more technical term go ahead

@GrandTheftSam Okay since you're on a Laptop, you either need a PCMCIA SATA Card, if you have that slot on your Laptop. If you don't, you need the X360USB Pro. Those 2 are for SATA.

For Power, you can use your Xbox 360, but you may get flagged. So if you don't want to be flagged, you can buy a CK3, or a CK3 Pro, or a CK3 Lite. To power the drive.

But for BenQ That's about it.
