  • is that x pipe or h pipe?

  • I hear you on that one, with my current set up I am running within a car length, two tops of an 06gt with long tubes/no cats/cat back, cams, DR's, intake from a dig to 120mph and im on 245 wide street tires. also the same with a 2001 camaro auto ss with longtubes + full catless exhaust, shift kit, pulleys, intake, and drag radials, so Its damn quick for what it is. Dyno's dont = an ET at the track anyways. The group I hang with call my car the mother of all freaks haha..

  • killer dude! i just did a masair conversion this weekend, wow what a diffrence youll love it, a bit slower but WAY smoother.

  • i have an 88 5.0 also, its an all stock 302, just ordered mac pro dump exhaust, also waiting on mass air conversion! sounds amazing, 5 stars also!

  • Sounds nice . is that on a stock motor ?

    5 stars btw

  • thank!

  • 347 with stock heads/cam. waiting on a masair conversion so i can cam it, get some injectors and put some nice heads on it.

    thanks!

  • @miataman89 you ever have your car dyno'd with the 347 on stock heads/cam? I have a very similar build. Here are the specs: 347 just under 11:1 comp, e303 cam, gt40 from an explorer intake, stock e7s,65mm TB & 70mm spacer, 24lb injectors C&L 76mm mass air w/ K&N filter in stock box. Shorty unequal length bbk headers, O/R X pipe, 3" mac pro dumps, pulleys, maybe a few more things. but I put down 283whp/363wtq. I have some edelbrock performer heads w/1.73rr's going on soon! what head/cam ya doing?

  • since the video it got gt40 heads 1:7 crane RR e-303, typhoon intake, 75mm TB C&L powerpipe, 80mm mass air, 24lbs injectors, msd 6al, bbk FPR, underdrives, and an a/c delete. i havent dynoed but im hoping for at least 350 at the wheels.

what was your altitude when you dynoed?

  • @miataman89 If I had to guess I would say right now your probably around 320wheel.. Gotta have some good flowing heads, from what Ive heard gt40's wont give ya 350 wheel.. I had it dyno'd about 300ft above sea level. Im hoping to be around 350wheel after the heads are on but I honestly dont know that the gt40's will put you where your hoping..

  • @miataman89 Everything else in your combo is ready for 350wheel, but I think your heads and only your heads are holding you back from power. (minus the e303 but you are probably in Ca like I am).

  • no im in new mexico, and actualy the e-303 is comming out to make way for a trickflow stage1 soon.

honestly i'll probably never dyno it. I'm prety happy with how fast it is and i think the dyno will just bum me out lol.

  • I'm running speed density and my h/c/i works fine

gotta upgrade to maf soon so i can upgrade fuel though

    sounds good!

  • flow path, equal length headers, 2 piece off road h-pipe

    3" flowpath catback

  • what mac setup?
