  • As I recall he was pretty well respected. Still is. The man can flat out sing.

  • oh my word...you messed up and got a con artist..Eleanora, why??

  • Jack Jones is my favorite male pop singer, he was one of the best song stylist of his or any other day and I played this record to pieces in the 70's along with "you are the love of my life" "I will wait for you!" "Make it with you" etc. I still play these songs to pieces and anything else by Jack Jones. His Dad Allan Jones was a great old school crooner type tenor.

  • You can't go wrong with this great song! Although the Carpenters version is the definitive one, Jack sounds mighty good here!

  • Very sunshine song!

  • Later became a jingle for ABC TV in 1976.

  • Thank you very much for uploading this jack jones song. Listen to it everyday. My favorite male singer of all time. :0)

  • I have only ever heard the Carpenters version of this song, intriguing to hear Jack Jones version

  • He was one hell of a singer..i discovered him late.

  • Jack Jones has never gotten the respect that is due him.

  • Liked Jack Jones' music since I was a kid back in the 80's, I always had an idiosyncratic taste in music, hey I'm not frightened to be different.

  • @JohnnyTheWolfLupino You Go boy!

  • @JohnnyTheWolfLupino Well, that just makes me respect you, Johnny! I totally relate to indiosyncratic tastes!

  • Here he sounds very smooth in the way of real crooner, in the way of 70's. Song is short and I want listen it over and over again. Thank you !

  • THAT WAS THE IDEA....to "grab" the "rocker audience"...Stellar production, orch.,and above all......mastering this record!!

  • Jack is almost drowned out by the production in this version....

  • MOR radio was still a lot of fun in 1971. Loved KFI and KNBR on the west coast.

  • ...Might I also add, Perry Botkin did a marvy arrangement job on this too!!

  • This SHOLD HAVE, I MEAN SHOULD HAVE MADE A HIT!! I Played this NEW in 1971..am I that old?? Yes!!

As Far as I'm concerned, Jack's is the only viable, and GREAT version....Joe Reisman "Screamers" in all their glory, as the background girlsl!!

BRAVO, BRAVO!! *and I played this on a rocker station!!*

I could not hear it enough!!
