Jack Jones is my favorite male pop singer, he was one of the best song stylist of his or any other day and I played this record to pieces in the 70's along with "you are the love of my life" "I will wait for you!" "Make it with you" etc. I still play these songs to pieces and anything else by Jack Jones. His Dad Allan Jones was a great old school crooner type tenor.
As I recall he was pretty well respected. Still is. The man can flat out sing.

You can't go wrong with this great song! Although the Carpenters version is the definitive one, Jack sounds mighty good here!

Liked Jack Jones' music since I was a kid back in the 80's, I always had an idiosyncratic taste in music, hey I'm not frightened to be different.

Here he sounds very smooth in the way of real crooner, in the way of 70's. Song is short and I want listen it over and over again. Thank you !

MOR radio was still a lot of fun in 1971. Loved KFI and KNBR on the west coast.
