A stunning work of art. But we there isn't much commentary about the why. Having Jesus hold the constitution is a rather deliberate statement. Seeming to suggest that the country should be a strictly religiously motivated patriotism. That concerns me with all of the noise from the religious right who with all of the talk of wanting to reduce government are trying to move us toward a theocracy. A stunning work of art. But we there isn't much commentary about the why. Having Jesus hold the constitution is a rather deliberate statement. Seeming to suggest that the country should be a strictly religiously motivated patriotism. That concerns me with all of the noise from the religious right who with all of the talk of wanting to reduce government are trying to move us toward a theocracy. Not what the founding fathers intended.

IF UNIVERSE needed a first cause and it was suppose to be GOD , then GOD would need a first cause as well.. It's a circular argument.. Intelligent design also fails cause the theory of evolution currently stands as the explanation for origins of human beings. Also, ID has been refuted by scientists many times...

@gskowal Correction God alone is the first cause .Everything else is cause after .your Big Bang verifies that it has to be cause and since nothing is cause without a cause GOd caused it .none opf this could have come to be without a designer ,The human eye just screams"human design" What about our souls ? God made that .

@gskowal Eucharistic miracles with scientific tests to back them up, Lourdes ,any book on the miracle at lourdes. The Virgin Mary at Fatima predicted WWI ending and WWII beginning .Nostredomist was a prophet who predicted many things that occurred such as twin towers falling , Hitler etc.
