Hey man I like your vids. I have a question: I am about to purchase an EMX as I thought the ESX was only a sampler, am I wrong? Also, I use Reason 4.0 to produce and am just now starting to get good with it. It's quite powerful with almost all that you need (minus the ability to record). Any thoughts on the software? I don't need encouragement I love the program I just thought I'd ask a pro's opinion. Thanks NEwho whether you respond or not. Awesome muzik my friend, from a junglist 2 U.
i used reason since 1.0 beta so i can tell you its a great soft, i used to use it live but control surfaces were more expensive than my hardware rig so i left it behind
the esx is just a sampler, thats why i use my HW synths for melodic sounds cause 1 sample stretched 4 octaves up and down sounds pretty crappy
i use the sampler part for the drum tho and i really like being able to update my drum sounds when i feel they become dated
your tunes are all sick i envy your pupils lol, seriously though i have been mixing and buying vinyl for ten years and your tunes are better than a lot of crap that gets released so i urge you to contact a record label cos you may get a nice retirement package from these lol, peace Rob.
don't waste time ripping youtube, check the download link in the info section, encoded direct from the original wav, not a triple conversion like you'll get by ripping it
rolls are tricky to get right on the electribes because of the 4ppq(max 8) resolution(and at 8, you only have a 4 bar loop) the reverse crashes, i know, i always forget it unmuted, and at this tempo, it comes pretty often
let's see what tomorrow will be like, i have a fay off, so more time to put towards details (as today i ended up making some tech-y track lol)
drum and bas is really a style that is hard to perform live on such limited sequencer, ableton live would me way more suited for this)
up to junglers

Oh ok gotcha man. I'm going to incorporate reason into a live show(theoretically) so thanks for the heads up.
Using the ESX for drum loops makes sense, glad I was right about that.
I will let u know when I post something on youtube or send u a link on here or Frisbee toss a vinyl copy to u. good looking out man. stay up.
