  • Really helpful comparison

  • thanks for the viddeo bro, great comparison

  • Thank You!!

  • When you compress the insulation the sound-dampening is much less since the insulation gets more hard.

Fluffy insulation = more quiet and darker note.

  • Excellent video and wonderful comparative analyses!

  • i have a 2009 Harley Iron 883 with v&h short shots. If i go from regular baffles to the quiet baffles, will i have to remap the computer or no?

  • Very good video, thanks for posting! Really helped me make a decision about which one I wanted to go with.

  • Very nice clip!

  • Quiet baffles are better, it sounds more refined and doesn't take away from harleys true sound. I can't stand bikes with straight pipes, people think obnoxious sound is the way to go but you don't ever here a loud ferrari or corvette, but you know one when you here it

  • Good video...I don't have a Sporty but it helps me to hear that I don't want quiet baffles. Thanks

  • Excellent video. Excellent. Nice comparo.

  • thanks for the video.. very nicely done.

  • Thanks for the video. I installed my last night. It made a huge difference in sound. More of a motorcycle and less of a shot gun. I spun my in with the direction of the batting and only had to push a little bit in with the screwdriver.

  • Thanks for all the effort you put into this side-by-side video. I had a number of questions re my straight shots and wrapping the baffles and you answered 'em all. I appreciate it.

  • Thanks a bunch for the video!

I was just installing quiet baffles into my Short Shots and started to have doubts regarding the insulation, it's quite a tight fit.

  • The bike should run OK without the baffles, but the bike is VERY loud. I'm not sure the bike would pass a db check even with the baffles. Ride for more than 30 minutes and it's amazing how much the sound begins to cause fatigue. The baffles seem to remove many of the higher frequencies, while preserving the Harley rumble.

  • hi there, there is a problem to run a bike without the baffles? I do have a 2004 FXST EFI. Really nice sound without the baffles!!! Thanks.

  • If some one wants to have a real Harley sound ,install quiet baffles. Vance and Hines baffle technology is so good,it took out all the high pitch sound that annoys and left with some real Harley bass.I didn't wan a spend more money after I bought straight shots for my sporty.but I thought I give it a go .the best decision ever taken.I never believed it until I install them. I heartlyrecommend them

  • Thanks for the great video, you sold me on the quiet baffles

  • very usefull vid, got a 48 with vance and hines shortys, way too loud for me got some quiet baffles ready to install...............

  • great video. def sounds the best with quiet baffles in
