  • Ndins are the people of gemini ...

In the age of pieces (indo europeans) the ndins cant function ....

Just have to survive these days , it wont be long ...

    Good luck bro !!

  • This would be white people if we never helped them in the first. They wouldn't have made it here, if it wasn't for ndins!

  • fucking pathetic low life degenerates

  • @savemyplaylist you white pig ,,,pink flesh fucks,,,,,i hope you die

  • @eddy783 subhuman ape shit

  • This is what happeneds when PEOPLE are not treated as HUMANS. Father Sky & Mother Earth strengthen the NATIVE AMERICANS

  • my heart hurts

  • Is this the same Joe Killsright that was involved in AIM back in the mid-70s?

  • It's tragical that the owners of this land have to live like this! And I am a white woman from Latvia but Ī am on american native's side!!! You don't have to fuck all white people mellyvel1...

  • in mexico there is alot of native americans because they feel free there and they have more opotunitie to work and o have a good life, im half native american and half mexican.....fuk white people.......

  • @mellyvel1 good keep them there

  • @mellyvel1 Im white but on youre side.

  • I thought native americans got help with different scholarships?

  • Yea New York was alot dirtier in the 1980s and more crime infested

  • welcome to genocide...aka Amerikkka

  • actually all mexicans or indians as americans call them came from the behring straight during the ice age and are in fact asians... nt spanish, much less latins... latins where the tribe from witch the romans belonged, thats why spanish and indians are called latins because mixed and spanish where roman descendent between other tribes...

  • FOR FUCKS SAKE AMERICA. HELP THESE PEOPLE ! YOU OWE THEM THAT AT LEAST

  • indian sux

  • These people are losers.

  • @MetalBassjunkie420

they are not losers... everything was stolen from them, their People have been the victims of THE LARGEST genocide in history. I'd like to know how you'd be doing if it had happened to you.

Indigenous Peoples are very strong but there is a limit to how many centuries of abuse, attacks and discrimination one can take.

You're an example of what they have to face on a daily basis.

Your comment makes YOU a loser. An ignorant loser.

  • OMG When will we make right the wrongs we've done to these PEOPLE????!!!!

  • Is there no where they can carry their lives on like back in the 1800's with no civilisation? I'm not an expert on this subject but surely they would rather carry on the tradition and there must be places they could go away

  • What does that little black girl say at 3:29?

"An Indian, that's on television" ???? That's all I hear.

  • Sad they have no place in their own land!

  • I can't explain how I came across this video, but this tears at my heart. This is a very small view of our people, across the country and abroad. There are many living in other countries too. Our tribes, don't keep in contact with us, they only help you if you live on the rez. And life there is not much better. There are a few tribes doing better with gambling ventures, but there are hundreds of other tribes out there, and they are just surviving. Sad.

  • We survive still.

  • "Sad to c this. They mourn for their fallen friend and use a table top for a drum but their words r from their hearts."

  • wow this is almost as intense as "Precious" he should have tried out to be one of the Bee Gees he would fit in. This is so sad! God bless everyone !

  • Man this is sad Minor-ties gotta look out for each other or this cycle will continue and grow

  • not all indians are people like this...We are Navajos living here in a kinda poor community here in Houston texas...and we arent struggling at all like these guys...and we DONT want help from the government...we take care of ourselves...if we can do it...so can my other brother and sisters out there...

  • how far have we come?

  • Joe was one fish out of water in NYC, especially having been used to the wide open spaces & sparse population in the Dakotas. Can two places be more opposite? NYC can be a sensory overload at times even to those of us born & raised here.

  • people can wish america helps all they want. we are the lowest populated and for all the trouble we caused i believe america makes sure we never get wealthy i live in oklahoma and tribes have to charge the PLAYER 0.50 cents per hand on card games STATE LAW! in casinos we own they regulate and make sure they get a piece still to this day

  • what in the shit happened to killsright?

  • he's my dad, and i know where he is.

  • Haha Dang dude that's racist. Not all Native Americans are like this. Where the humanity at with your response? There's pore people in all races. I actually helped out a pore white dude the other day.

  • lol what u through a beer bottle at him because he didn't give u any change. Yah 99.999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 are. Didn't feed me bs you guys are just leeches. Blame everyone else for lazyness and demand money.

  • Don't be spreading you're ignorant garbage on youtube, it's because of people like you that it is hard for some natives to adapt to city-life. My mom has been a high school teacher for 8 years and she is a full-blooded ojibwa native.

  • That woman who started that apartment in New York is my hero. We must be the change we wish to see. I cried when Joe went home.

  • I wonder if anyone ever did a follow up? This was 1984, so 25 years ago. I wonder what happened to Joe Killsright?

  • @hoorayforblowjobs This footage was shot in 1980 ... notice disco shirt on joe :p

  • @robfergusonjr the video is not about his shirt its showing you about how natives live when the leave there reservations and loose there jobs and then how they seek help

  • @Geehan666 Yes, I'm well aware of that fact.

  • indians are stranger in there own land ,thats mess up.

  • @latroncal I agree completely they are the first nations people and stewards of the land the whiteman has completely raped......

  • @latroncal THATS ONLY THE BEGINNING

  • They DONOT live in better conditions now.

    You are wrong.

  • this is just heartbreaking.. especially when he meets his mother.

  • it's tragic that the true owners of America are the most poorest group. Same goes for the Aborigines of Australia. How can this be? There's lots of help for foreign aid but the own natives are forgotten? Look at the hopeless poverty and circumstances at reservations. Something has to be done. America and Australia have money and resources enough, they should spend more for the natives from which they stole the land and resources in the first place.

  • I don't understand this. Native Americans are this countries Indegious people. They once owned this land, now look how they are living. This is both sad and pathetic. No one should be living like this at all; american indians, chinese, hispanics, blacks...ect. No one should be living like this at all, without the essentials to help you get by. There are tons of shelters and organizations to help homeless people. They are human beings just like us. How about we open up our hearts and help them.

  • @TaintedCandy21 Great words spoken with a lot of compassion its refreshing to know there is someone else out there who feels the same way. Considering we live in a society where a dog or cat means more now than a human being its disgusting to see those commercials about dogs or cats in a pound needing a home and all around us there are homeless people......

  • @whisperingdeath308 yeah but people can speak for themselves and animals can't. people choose to drink instead of work. they have a choice, animals don't

  • Comment removed

  • @msnativewolfgirl I respect your opinion msnativewolfgirl, but i am talking about people here not animals. When the Sioux, the Comanche and the Arapaho hunted the buffalo for their survival their were no animal rights activists. Only a people that respected the land the earth and the animals they hunted. But we are in the midst of a people still scarred and hurting.

  • @TaintedCandy21 What did you do today to help this? Just asking.

  • thanx for this

  • new york is expensive. cant they just move away from new york? live elsewhere? im sure there are jobs elsewhere.

  • Can't they just move away? lol people have been saying that shit about them for hundreds of years.

  • you're a fucking idiot.

  • Our journey into civilization is showing its results. Great vid to prove a point. We are lost in a whirlwind that spirals Mother Earth and is gradually spinning out of control. This problem is in all major cities. Because you do not see it, does not mean it does not exist. Cujo9 is a critic that is a "wanna be" who will "never be".

  • That building 7:09 which was part of Beth Israel Hospital now houses luxury condominiums. And the neighborhood in the beginning of the video is no longer a ghetto but now an over-the-top expensive section with rents starting at $2,000.00 a month for a small space (if you can find one) that is. Yuppies have taken over N.Y.C. and the rents are out of reach for the average working person. Now that's real progress.. Oh! There are more homeless people too but their better hidden from public view now.

  • your wrong..

  • omg I can't believe this. f the us goverment. They only call themselves american when theirs a tragedy. God damn Americans and the white american goverment you guys must help eachother how can someone in the us live like this

  • i didn't know there is natives in new york and i didn't know they lived in poor conditions like this

  • Wopila tanka for posting this! I've watched it several times...

  • lijke what the english tried to do with the irish .....for so many years

  • dude. We need a president who FIRST spends money for his usa, than iraq.

  • i never knew.. even in new york D=..

  • This is very sad...I am native yet adopted by non-Indian family, I had NO IDEA this was going on-this is very shocking-just remember one thing...STAY STRONG AND LIVE

  • Thanks for the info ... we must not forget this aint just a problem of one race this is a problem to all humans this is Capitalism and an oppressive governmental system.

Drugs and alcohol going to destroy you.

check wikipedia, drugs and alcohol is also used as a weapon to dumm you down.

  • Omg who was that woman his mother? she was so adorable I started to cry when they were brought together

I'm so proud to be native

  • Don't worry Natives, stay strong our day shall come soon...

I'm Black but I'm talking about 'them' paying for what 'they' did to our ancestors.

  • My heart goes out to you guys. Keep ya head up and keep fighting.

  • My heart really goes out to Joe Killsright and his companions. This video clearly shows the double-edged sword that is trying to make a life for yourself in the big city. Ive been homeless myself - just a few years ago now that I live here in London. No matter what your education or background is, it can happen. There was more bureaucracy than help but I was lucky that I never had addiction to struggle with. I hope that Joe Killsright and the others managed to sort themselves out.

  • I did not know that ndns live in the united kingdom

  • According an article in The Sun, the Home Office (Immigration and Nationality Directorate) reports that there about 25-30 of us resident here in the UK. I have been contacted by a couple of Native sisters through social networking...its quite interesting for us to say the least...

  • I guess this video is like 20yrs+ ago, but i've been on the streets b4 too and man it is hard especially if there's an addiction. there's a point in our lives when our trail leads us to find out about who we really need to be, who we need to meet and to show us what this world is like. But that lifestyle is humbling...

  • this brother needs to come home.

  • he should try to start back on the rez, and even if he still fails, he has his native brothers and sisters there to suffer with. better together than alone. I feel for them.

  • Islam is the only way to cope with the changing world. Convert on your own will, and the creator will bless us and our ancestors with a new world, free of wants.

  • "I think it is funny when white guys do check me out all the time. It makes their women jelous. But no thanks, I love my native men."

Hahahaha I agree with you =)

  • JapsEye2, the white rednecks I've come across give all of you white people a bed rep, so what do you expect me to do, love all fucking white people even if they treat us like shit?!? I think not. Just like we have a bad rep ourselves, you probably think we're all lazy drunken indians, do you not? As I've read in the paper, Natives in this country(Canada) have the lowest rate of alcoholism than any other race. Anyway, sorry, I'm a really defensive person angry with the government =P

  • Like you said in your last blog. Each to his/or hers own. I still stick to what I said about what I would do for my natives. That's not allowed for a debate on your part. I'm sure that you are willing to open your wallet and help the rez yourself.? I just see how it comes.

  • I'm a native american woman and got my degree and have a good life. I don't drink and party.I set a good sample to myself for my loved ones. But I will tell you that if I come across a native that needs money. I would help them over some white trash anyday. Whites are very greedy and very racist.I think it is funny when white guys do check me out all the time. It makes their women jelous. But no thanks, I love my native men. And yes, my native husband got his degree too.

  • Woah! That's pretty unfair! I'm white, and I'm not at all racist or greedy. Each to his/her own by all means, but you are just generalising. Not very impressive.

  • Because white people think this is their land, they're racist, greedy fucks who will never help my people. And yes there are alot of people living like him today.

I don't live like that but we are strong people.

  • We are not all racist and greedy.

  • this video makes me so sad why does the american goverment didnt help -why ? probebly there is a lot of people who live just like him today!!! america should help those people cause they took their land - they have to !!! )-: )-:

  • Man this sad. I though us black people had it bad but natives have it worse.

  • We NDNs are the most disengfranchised group in America - still existing under systematic apartheid in the great land of democracy... We are truly invisible in our own country...

  • fuck bush and goverments they spend money hotel good life and they dont see indians neet healp im mexican aztec and i feel bad if the fuck goberment live mexican people work we can healp american indian because mayas incas egipt aztacas indian america we are the same blood the fucker eropeans they stolet own lands gold and kill people fuck white poeple the profet is near the lands back to own

  • The Prophet is among us, the elders know this, they know who he is, he is like Iktomi he hides because he is ashamed that he tries his best and that he has arrived in a time so late, he is sad to see that his lands were ravaged by them he is sad to see his people suffer, so he hides in shame living the white way. In time my brother, Pahana will return to us when the time is near, we all must act as one and head to the sacred lands and await pahana.

  • As a Native American living an urban life, I understand alot of what these individuals are looking to. A better life. It is sad that some turn to alcohol and drugs and give up their dreams. Some get help, some don't turn back. Reservation life still costs money. I practice my beliefs wherever I am at, I beleive the great spirit within me has taken care of bad times and celebrates with me in good times. There is help if you ask for it. We have one chance, make the best choice. you are worth it.

  • Go back to your traditional ways and that is your healing, crack, booze and all is not the answer. All these natives know they have their own traditional healing practices that can really help them but hey CHOOSE this life. It's a shame when reports like so make all of us Natives seem like joe. I guess the majority does fall into this.

  • If this was in '84 though, this is not the man I was thinking of. I was talking about Joe Killsright Stuntz

  • Joe Killsright was killed on the jumping bull rach, on the standing rock reservation. He was killed when FBI agents came illegaly onto the reservation. Never forget him, never.

  • Does this survival house still exist?

  • this makes me hate americans more and more

  • why?

  • because i love indians (native americans) and the usa fucked up their culture wich is very sad cuz they live so good in harmony with nature and the usa doesnt.. and the us killed 99.9% of the natives and put the remaining in reservations and now stole their countrys, thats not very honest.. and now i am not even talking about the atomic bombs on japan.. usa doesnt respect ppl from outside the usa.. they must behave better with their powerfull country

  • i agree, but don't all nations have contradictory histories? it seems as if all nations have their share of blood on their hands...human beings need to do better in general.

  • well indeed ppl must do better.. not only stop their own war but also the war against nature.. nature will win so dont makje it mad..

yeah we treaded black ppl.. we brought them to the other side of the sea.. i would love to see all the blacks in africa so we should be neutral

  • Why? They're happy where they are now. I don't think I've ever met a black person who wants to go live in Africa. You think you're so conscious, try thinking.

  • there not happy.. the are poor and have no rights in there own country..

    dont be a wiseguy

  • well said

  • man that was sad and i feel and know what he's goin through... much love brother

  • That's right.

We just reside here in the cities - the townships that are populated and run by non-NDNz man.

    So we go hungry.

If some of 'them' went hungry. Maybe they'd get it.

    The funeral got me.

  • we are paupers in our own palce thanks to the surreptitious treaties our ancestors were coerced to sign and the queen lives on royalties not her own. The old world was bankrupt paying off the vikings when they "found" us and paid their debts with our land resources...and we get nothing but a bad rap.

  • I live on a reservation near Seattle, here my tribe has done alot of work to keep our people healthy, mentally and physically, but still there are some people who live this kind of lifestyle, especially in Seattle. What alot of you who are leaving judgmental comments don't realise, mostly because our government does its best to keep you ignorant on the subject, is that many of these people suffer from post tramatic stress syndrome, mental illness, and addictive personalities.

  • Lot's of people where i came from were contact workers in different parts of the globe. Most them become successful, and most of them were failed. But I know exactly how he feels when he said he's in his homeland, and yet he's still feel he's an outcast. or a stranger. Wish people could grasp it. That some people has no home to go back to...

  • This has to be from the 80's I'd think, no?

    Early 80's is my guess.

  • oh, ok, just gotta wait till the end.

  • why not go back to the 'land' in the countryside?

  • exactly, what's keeping you in NY? He says he misses his family, kids, land, why not go back?

  • on my opinion, he's there to have a job, right? Some people never go back because they would want something to prove when they return.Something that their children would be proud of.

  • "he's there to have a job right?" He's an alcoholic drugged up homeless living on the street...I think by now it's safe to say that he's NOT having a job and whatever he's doing in NY ain't working for him.

  • Exactly how old is this?
