I can't explain how I came across this video, but this tears at my heart. This is a very small view of our people, across the country and abroad. There are many living in other countries too. Our tribes, don't keep in contact with us, they only help you if you live on the rez. And life there is not much better. There are a few tribes doing better with gambling ventures, but there are hundreds of other tribes out there, and they are just surviving. Sad.

That building 7:09 which was part of Beth Israel Hospital now houses luxury condominiums. And the neighborhood in the beginning of the video is no longer a ghetto but now an over-the-top expensive section with rents starting at $2,000.00 a month for a small space (if you can find one) that is. Ive been homeless myself - just a few years ago now that I live here in London. No matter what your education or background is, it can happen.
