Andrea was made for this aria. He sings with so much emotion and feelings that to me, it seems that sad arias suit him better than more upbeats one, like say 'la danza'.

Anyone who says that Bocelli is simply a pop singer who dabbles in opera needs to check this out ,ive seen him live along with other great singers, and he is right up there with the best, plus ive heard great reviews of his new 'carmen' cd

I have had the great pleasure of seeing Andrea in concert on 24th August 2008. He was in excellent voice and look most very handsome, just like this video. The program was a mixture of opera (I love him singing opera) and other popular songs, just wonderful. We left the concert with our hearts filled with beautiful music and unforgetable memories. Thank you Andrea for taking us to a higher plain.

Wonderful recording! Thank You, MARYBEEBEE for posting it. It is great to listen/see the events that are not available to us in the USA in any other format.

I have the CD, " The Opera Album ARIA" with this aria of Cavaradossi from Tosca. (different orchestra). I like this Hyde Park recording better. I suppose that seeing Maestro Bocelli singing adds to the emotional reception. I just adore, admire, and greatly respect him for the music that he brings to us, the audience.
