For some reason UbiSoft didn't have Sam find and kill Williams in Conviction (which would have been sweet). In fact, Williams wasn't even a character. I could pilot a 747 through that plothole.

Williams is a different character than William Redding, but are both voiced by the same actor. I think originally they may have intended them to be the same character and changed their minds last minute, because in Double Agent Williams looks like Redding, but in the PSP Essentials, he's shown to be graying middle aged and chubby.

sam is no longer a part of the NSA.He left and hes hiding from them because of these acousations of him being a terrorist.He will most likley not be going back 2 work for the NSA...but i know in ConViction (360 exclusive game WHEU XBOX RULES) the whole basis is about Sam going back to save Anna Grimsdaughter from Agent Willams and shit.Conviction will be the best since Chaos Theory since DA sucked badly.

That's why I like the xbox version of double agent better than 360. Basically what happens is you have the option of killing Lambert - so that the JBA doesn't think otherwise of you. Might as well, considering he isn't in conviction. So basically the whole agency thinks you're bad. So you go into hiding. In conviction you basically set out to prove your innocence 2 years later.

Heh, dont know where people have got the thing into their head that Sam is running from the government to clear his name in Conviction, he is trying to find out why Anna Grimsdottir is being threatned, and since Third Echelon has fallen under bureaucratic limitations he starts to find out on his own =)

Lambert's dead. I was origionally talking about splinter cell DA on the gamecube. Now that I've beaten the REAL version on the 360 I realize that he's dead... Hell I shot him myself.

I shot Jamie Washington instead of Lambert. Not sure what happened to Lambert after that.. he looked pretty lifeless when I left him to disarm the bomb.

its kinda stupid u have to play both xbox and 360 version to know the full story in 360 they dont mention anithing after that but in xbox william say he got beat up pritty badly he is in the hospital expected to recover //360 version ends in HQ they dont get to deliver the bomb because the FBI comes , xbox version bombs get deliver

I actually agree with you. Ending-wise, it would have been cheesy and not that great, but it would have allowed Ubisoft to keep the original gameplay from the first three and not make a modern-day Assassin's Creed. I'm sad that they're ditching the original gameplay in the end. The original games will always have a place on my shelf.

Nice compilation of some scenes from Splinter Cell Essentials (available for Sony PSP), but not from Conviction. However, Essentials is a sequel of Double Agent and the prequel to Conviction ( action is going on one year after DA and one year before Conv.)
