i just got lessons and learned a lot of modes and arpeggios and then expanded from those.

You must get in a band and play this song. It will sound great.

I liked the solo because it was not about pentatonic boxes. Those add9 chords sounded very good in your composition. Get away of power chords and play without distortion for composing, that would help you develop your ear in terms of harmony.

alright, my buddy Justin (notunintelligent) told me to watch this because he wants you to be our guitarist...however, I want you to play something that is SLOWER with more emotion, not just speed and power chords, if you can play fast with emotion then that's fantastic, when I hear something rhythmic and emotional I will approve and you will be in...but I'm very picky about this type of thing and I'm not satisfied at the moment
