  • I've seen a few videos on here with the same technique..I've yet to see anyone give a clear cut tutorial on how to do it..Either (1) they're not doing what they say they're doing or (2) they're just holding out not really wanting to share the knowledge..Hmm

  • nice one this is really good sounds like ur scratching on some real turntables

  • nice one dude! great scratch ! sounds like a real turntable .. im also practicing scratch on virtual dj...i think i need more practice to scratch like dis .. using mouse & keyboard .. can u make a tutorial to this? thanks! :)

  • how you scrtach like that?????? please tell meeee

  • @devastatinrhythms I am a DJ Been spinning 4 years strong. If you don't like it good for you. In My opinion as a DJ who makes a substantial amount of money doing. If you don't like it shut up and sit in the corner don't hate on other people.

  • People can't do this with Timecodes and SL 1200's. This is unreal Major props to you.

  • @schrock1 thank you :-)

  • Thank you uncle I will prove it

  • It likes the skin you can spend it to me?

  • that was dope ahahaha

  • como c llama ese skin me gustaria tenerlo y en cuanto a el video muy buena madera

  • @CJ13CRISPO Sorry dude I don't speak spanish , but from what I understand you are asking about the skin , it's called "old school" skin and you can find the link in the description box :)

  • @tuniturntablist friend like this q I would like to help me re skin is good ........... please

  • @CJ13CRISPO Read the description :-)

  • I actually don't believe it was done with a mouse, but if it is, good shit....but I honestly think you did it with the time codes and just hovered the mouse over it.

  • @priyonjoni Its cool , I wish I could afford real time codes , but for now , all my VDJ videos are mouse and keyboard only ;)

  • wow i make beats and clearly now i see im not an artist yet

  • where can i find this awesome VDJ skin?

  • How did you do with with the mice?

  • YOU KILLED LOL

  • damn you cold

  • ahahaha wow nice man

  • @dIMPULSEj ty :D

  • @tuniturntablist Awesome that sounds just ike his routine ! Btw, I've donwloaded the skin but Idk how to install it, there's only a bmp file and 2 text files. Can you tell me how to install it please :)

  • @Grobloum Don't extract those files , just copy the .zip file to : My Documents\VirtualDJ\Skins

  • @tuniturntablist thanks :)

  • @tuniturntablist A last question. Well actually 2 questions: -How do you change the sensitivity of the mouse to scratch with it ?

-How to change the interface of the skin (vinyls etc.) ?

  • @Grobloum For the mouse sensivity (on windows 7) : go to "control panel" > "view devices and printers" > right click on the mouse icon > select "mouse settings" > go to "pointer Options" tab and tick "Enhance pointer precision" then adjust the pointer speed the way you feel comfortable with .

About the skin interface you see in this video , it's a modified version of the one posted in the description , made by me and it's not available for download yet .

  • holy shit that was tuff my man nice one m8

  • @SoopaSounds that was suppose to be a compliment dude. i can't even do it on actual vinyls.

  • @SoopaSounds Thank you ! actually yeah it ain't easy to do with keyboard and mouse , I hope one day I buy real turntables when I can afford them and try this routine on real vinyl x)

  • NICE JOB DUDE!

  • @untouchable4rc Thx ^_^

  • for real???? Damn with two syllables

  • this is like taking a dump on djing. and then some!

  • wow..that was impressive.. good job.

  • Please don't forget to subscribe , it only takes 2 seconds ^^

  • Dude you seriously need to make some sort of tutorial on how to do this. I've been trying to do this without the help of controllers but damn dude, sick.

  • @harlysorto217 Here is a tutorial : get a nice fluid mouse , set pointer speed to the fastest option (with enchance pointer precision enabled) , map the keyboard to controll the crossfader , practice on your hand techniques and thats it =)

  • @tuniturntablist Map the keyboard to what action exactly? They're more than a few crossfader action types.

  • @harlysorto217 I finally figured it out on my own..Just choose whatever key on the keyboard your comfortable with example I chose "C"..Go to mappers add (whatever key you choose) action "crossfader 50% while_pressed"..If your fader is on the right hold the key & it'll temporarily go the left & return on it's own when you release the key & vice versa..Yes it's that simple, why these assholes who know this on youtube couldn't just say so is beyond me???

  • @DJAnd1Exclusive umm , maybe because there is something called google.com that doesn't bite when using it ?

  • @tuniturntablist Not everything can be found on google dickhead..obviously if that was the case dudes on here wouldn't be bombarding you with request for a tutorial..It's called a helping hand, one inspiring DJ looking out for another..There's something called being charitable, that doesn't fuck you in the ass when using it..But then again that maybe your thing I don't know?

  • @DJAnd1Exclusive Calm down , there are millions of tutorials on youtube so no need to make one , you just need to know how to find it , how do you think I know all this stuff about vdj in the first place ? you could have asked nicely and I would be glad to help , but you blew your chance ...

  • Respond to this video... Encase you didn't notice I at least posted a comment detailing exactly how it's done..In the hood we call it "Looking out!" :)

  • @DJAnd1Exclusive *facepalm* what you posted is wrong ...

  • @tuniturntablist I have Virtual DJ, can you do this with a lap top ? I haven't figured out how to scratch with the on screen fader..

  • how do i get that skin

  • @djfonz210 Its simple , all you have to do is learn to read descriptions before watching videos on Youtube .

  • yo where did u get that skin from with the turntables sitting battleside?

  • @gadget609 I've put a link in the description for free download ^^

  • @tuniturntablist thanx

  • Nice 1000 views , thanks for watching ppl :D

  • I never realized this routine could actually sound decent coming from vDJ but I messed around with it and it's not that hard, just takes practice to get some of those scratches consistent. Do you have your disk spinning at 45 rpm?

  • @DJKeeksMusic Its 33 rpm , thanks for watching ^^

  • To do this routine takes more than a key board. I've tried using VDJ, It just didn't work out for me. By doing that on a keyboard fathoms me.

  • @DJMcCoYsince1986 Yep , i know its hard to do without real turntables , but its not impossible with vdj , you just need to practice ;)

  • Dude if this was really made with VDJ and not posing a video on top of the actual audio as I think it was really good

  • @younghovcu good , because it's real ^^

  • @DJTONYTOCA313 what is SO fake about it ?

  • not bad at all kinda must up in the middle a lil bit
