@NiallJosephMcDaid there will be a button on your amp somewhere in the middle of your knobs then there will be a knob that says GAIN and that will let u decide how much destortion you want :)

@jrafnell I find it really gets me close to use that neck pickup and back my tone knob off to 2. I use a LP Standard. With the LP, I have enough sustain to back off the distortion and it sounds pretty close. If your guitar doesn't have great sustain, a compressor might help.

iyour a great teacher, its really nice to have someone actually sit down and explain it properly...btw have you done avideo for the outro solo?....ok heres my problem, i have trouble bending the strings at the start, its a lil hard to find the right spot i mean how far your bend it each time but not only that, my fingers move the g string and so when i bend back down the g string just plays itself and wrecks it

@Pesiane ok, its going to take some time, but practice your major and minor pentatonic scales. play them slow and get faster and faster every time. and remember to use both sides of the pick.

@Pesiane always strum down first, then up. but if your playing whole notes, half notes, dotted notes, and quarter notes, only strum down. eighth notes or higher is for both sides of the pick. it helps you play faster and clearer :)

When I want to play this solo, obviously I have to tune my guitar a half step down, but I just tune the E, B and G chord, because this solo only uses three chords, so it's not necessary to tune all the chords of the guitar...
