Instead of doing that, i just watch the enemies, wen i see one about to get in range/move out of cover i click without holding. It starts the fireing sequence. Then all i have to do is hold the reticle on him, and bingo, instant fast-shot. I've seen several instances where i had something like what he did, with hits after teh lock is gone.
@mithuthLP if your good with a cannon you dont miss and your realy good with a cannon if you stand in the middle of the map on the ground ebliterating people

It's a hack, when he locks on a target it doesn't matter if he keeps on the sight, because the bullet will hit anyway.
To hit a someone with cannon, you need to keep it until you release the button. What he does is shooting after he lose the target. If you cannot see it check on 1:04, 2:13 and 2:31.
@KingGeber too lazy for that kind of comment ... it doesn't matter who plays good or bad, a cheat is a cheat. Besides the game ended in september 2010.
@MithuthLP haha. yeah he was kinda upset about the game ending. =p I'm personal friends w/ the guy & I've seen him play. Yeah, he's not cheating. LULZ. Did they even have "cheats" for the game? None that we knew about. Plus, this sniper cannon stuff was from when he first started playing the game. Basically, he got super better. Skills ... not "cheats" dude.
If you ever know about cannon weapons you should know that IF YOU LOSE YOUR TARGET IT WON'T HIT, the funny thing is the user set some parts in slow motion so you don't need to pause in order to see it xD.

as a cannon man in CTF ur job is to provide primary damage assistance not to steal other team mates kills. btw ur aim is abit okay and go rent a flash fire S, really worth the credit
Most of those shots were pretty pro, but at 2:13 it looks like you hacked. I'm not sure if its my computer or you were lagging but it never showed you lock on him.
BTW what cannon would anyone recommend right now between the
Colony Blaster-A, Red Eye-S, or Flash Fire-S.
P.S. I've never cannoned before so if that shot at 2:13 was completely legit don't judge me. >_>
canon follows target rocket just fires straight. so. rockets fire ecatcly where you point. cannons shoot at the enemy your aiming at. but um. i actually havent played the game myself, i hope to soon though. but i have observed many reviews.
cannon is 1 very strong bullet and its a hit when locked on ( bullets are target guided) if u shoot a cannon bullet without locking on and some one walks in front of it the bullet wont hurt him
rocket is manual aim so the bullets fly straight forward only and can hit u without lock on cuz it doesnt have a lock on
rocket shoots more bullets but do less damage but they can hurt 3 enemys with 1 shot if they r close
if u shoot a rocked bullet and some one walked in front of it it can hurt him

the rocket is totally different:it flies straight,marksmanship DOES NOT influence your precision in any way and it`s also AOE(are of effect),meaning it will damage multiple targets standing in the proximity of the one you want to hit. it`s also probably the hardest weapon to master,but once u get the hang of it u`ll pwn XD

Not really doubting his skills, but a full vid of a game would be more of a proof rather than clips of his kills. I've seen a Kexteel vid of a cannon user owning pretty much through out the game in TDM. It was just epic. He died just 5-6 times while killing around 33+ (Lost count from there, game ended shortly after).

So yes, I was proud of myself because back then no one else was as good as me at cannons. I have noticed alot of people using them now. I'm a cannoneer also. I've realized too that you've done many narrow shots with your cannon. Like when people are running across the screen, In free fall, jump, running for covers. So you are good I must say.

2010 and the 2 new mechs will be out I heard. The Centurion and Guardian. One being light, and the other is heavy. New cannons will also be available by then. I wonder how strong those are.

I know I'm gonna get flamed and I don't play this game, was thinking of downloading it, but anyway: that is completely skilless. From my point of view all you do is rest the reticle on the enemy player and it will lock on and home in and hit them, even if you aren't aiming at them! Some bloody sniper... anyone want to clarify for me?
its true that when your reticle is red it is a hit. but it doesnt lock on outside of the reticle. actually its extremely difficult to master this to the level experience this player has. its very easy to lose your target with canon.
exteel is a softlock game and its easy to get out of the reticle + when ppl see a cannon it usually gets rushed pretty quick. its not sniping in the traditional FPS style but in a way it is sniping. ur doing massive damage from a distance away and cannons have a smaller reticle than all the other guns in the game. it takes more skill than u realize, but as far as downloading this game? dont do it, the community is dying quick and NCsoft doesnt care.

cannons have a longer range than rockets and since rockets dont have a soft lock theyre out of the category as well as melee. out of all the weapons with softlock they have the smallest reticles and longest range and do the most damage.
But you were talking about the reticles of all guns in the game as a whole, you said it yourself, all guns so also rockets, but when you say that cannons have the smallest reticles outof all soft lock guns, I guess that that's right but when it comes to all guns as a whole then rockets have the smallest reticle.
I'm lv 21 and i still use my unlimited default mecha parts because repairs are too expensive =P I only use my good mechnaught when i have to wait 11 seconds for my default, which isnt very often
Often people will sway left and right to get closer to you and to make you aim worse, the thing to do is get their swaying pattern right. When it's a random person it helps to aim before the place they are going to go to (aim in front of them)
i was wondering is that an Apogee cannon and i unno if you play now but im wondering which one is a better wep the s rank cannon ( red eye ) or the siege caster A ( overall the siege had better stats but i see all high lvl cannoners with red eye )
cannons, the power of epic weapons. of course if you have a cannon and heavy armor, then a light with SMGs and a decent sword can kill you quick. believe me, I have seen it, it's not pretty. I could say thanks to Bankai11 for that.
Only in noob games sonicspeed011, wait till you get high level.. heavy mech switch weapons from cannon to Anni A and Decent shotgun would own any light mech =)
Actually, I played with Exalt a long time ago, and when this video was made he didn't have maxed Marksmanship. He's just a beast when it comes to aiming and letting the trigger go. :P
I gotta admit that cannons and rockets are like the strongest guns (Not really guns, but you get the point), but I still prefer rifles :l faster to use, and they still do really good damage (dependin on the one u buy anyways -_-")
Um, there is no point in telling you unless you are playing. Gear in this game is hard to get, you will spend months trying to get credits to buy parts.
Not bad? I think this guy is really good with a cannon. I'd like to see you snipe with a cannon... And not everyone caps in CTF ya know... He's pretty useful, killing the enemies.
Killing the right ennemies at the right moment is useful... Camping mid with a cannon free killing & TDM is just noob. Nvm, I dun even care. He's just one more thinking he's good cuz he can kill the mechs who are not even shooting at him in a CTF.

its not hack cuz he release the shot when he was aiming so the bullet he shot is on target an hits the target later
thats why cannon is inpossible to dodge if the release the bullet while locked on

He has good marksmanship. Even though he doesnt have marksmanship arms he probally maxed out his marksmanship stat from using the pts from lvling

As long as you're locked in when it fires, the cannon shot will bend a bit (or a lot depending on various factors).

I reccomend Seige Caster-A
It has a tad shorter range than Apogee but it is stronger and its overheat rate is lower...
Red eye is weak... The only reason why it is 85k is because it has a faster shot rate but you barely notice it...
Colony Buster has the best range but it is rather weak and has the lowest accuracy...

I'm lv 21 and i still use my unlimited default mecha parts because repairs are too expensive =P I only use my good mechnaught when i have to wait 11 seconds for my default, which isnt very often

but i need cannon training (just started exteel lvl 3 Majelon) i love cannons because i get random kills when people mob together
but when i try with one person i can't even get a simple hit!

Often people will sway left and right to get closer to you and to make you aim worse, the thing to do is get their swaying pattern right. When it's a random person it helps to aim before the place they are going to go to (aim in front of them)

tips are
1:Get use to 2 basic weapon set ups like i've basicly 2x Spatter's A on first weapon mode and 2 beam splitter A on weapon 2 mode
Do not buy stuff that you don't need,Since you will run out of credit's and you having a problem then,

i was wondering is that an Apogee cannon and i unno if you play now but im wondering which one is a better wep the s rank cannon ( red eye ) or the siege caster A ( overall the siege had better stats but i see all high lvl cannoners with red eye )

Well, me being a hgher level cannon user.
The anwer is none of them.
Apogee A does the most damage out of any cannon on the game.. it also has decent range.
Red eye is weak.. no range.. and expensive.. all it has is faster reload.. which yu dont notice the difference than with apogee.
seige caster has to many random shots, you fire and half the time the bullet goes else where, but that is where marksmanshp comes in.
Just save 65,000 credits and get apogee A.

cannons, the power of epic weapons. of course if you have a cannon and heavy armor, then a light with SMGs and a decent sword can kill you quick. believe me, I have seen it, it's not pretty. I could say thanks to Bankai11 for that.

if he stunds to wait shoot you can see a yellow thing out of his core so it must be spazmok
weapons on 2:01 you can see that the rocket skill needs more SP then the meteor strike so it cant be death from above.
and you just can see on 0:32 that he is using shine break sooo thats it :)

Actually, I played with Exalt a long time ago, and when this video was made he didn't have maxed Marksmanship. He's just a beast when it comes to aiming and letting the trigger go. :P

I gotta admit that cannons and rockets are like the strongest guns (Not really guns, but you get the point), but I still prefer rifles :l faster to use, and they still do really good damage (dependin on the one u buy anyways -_-")

Um, there is no point in telling you unless you are playing. Gear in this game is hard to get, you will spend months trying to get credits to buy parts.
And the pistol is called smg.
I like Colony Burster A for Cannon
And I don't use smg
