what is the content then, if it is collaborative without a specific theme? is the content simply human experience across the world? this could very possibly be a great idea.
@SiffaScary Hi there and thank you. You've got it in a nutshell! Simply people's experiences, impressions of the world we live in. Records of and reflections on the day, drawn together in a poem. Planet Poem has started to grow on Jottify, people are adding new lines. Could be quite something, is already more than I thought it would be when I first sat down and started writing!
@kel2corkey Thank you Kel - that is great to hear! I'd love to see the poem grow, taking shape as added lines express different people's voices. I thought it a good idea to keep the poem text on Jottify, to invite people to add their lines of poetry as comments there. To try to keep the poem together. I'm glad to say that people have started! More lines occur to me as well. I'll try to keep updated!
@EllyMcCormack Thanks Elly! I'm more used to seeing the poem laid out on a page, where the eye goes to different phrases, kind of filters out the 'somewhere on the planet' bit. Always there, but put to one side. A few new lines have appeared since I posted the poem on Jottify... it'll be interesting to see where it goes. Hey ho. Cheers for now as ever, Mark

This is very beatnik, for the use of repetition. Reminds me of Holy by Ginsberg, only no sodomy or drug taking.
It was like a chant. Very soothing, I don't think this kind of repetition can be done unless you have a nice reading voice, which you do have.
