  • His technique is amazing and his sense of rhythm too!

  • dude, can u make a piano cover for the love sick part 1?

  • Simply amazing. Please keep recording videos.

  • again where are the views for this

  • This song should be played on the radio.....

  • WTF did I just witness? I came looking for a good cover and found a god damn masterpiece. Where is the youtube warning letting me know I might lose my virginity again after watching this video?

  • great Job, makes me wish I was better at the piano.

  • That's tough bro! I still gotta learn Luv Sic Part 4, but not sure which one? The one that Shing02 did with Emi Meyer, or Nujabes? Well they're pretty much the same thing. lol Anyway good job on the jazzy sound.

  • @IzCarraway I was going to suggest you check this video out but I guess you already did lol

  • Redo w/instrumental!! Please and thank you!!

  • HOLY SHIT!! AWESOME!!! i totally love your piano playing!

  • Crazy talent on this guys channel

  • is this uci?

  • i love this songgg!!!

  • soooooooo fuking insane. Wonderful.

  • Wow dude, very impressive! Would love a clean version of this really hits the spot..

  • this is fucking beautiful.

  • DbMaj?

  • @zarenj21 yup, full chord progression is Db maj7 - Eb min 7 - F min 7 - F# maj 7- F min 7 - Bb min 7 - Eb min7 - Ab7 - Db maj 7

  • @mmeronek AWESOME, just like Feather and Aruarian Dance I think. The chord progression question was my next question haha.

  • What you REALLY should do is record the piano by itself, then add that recording over top the instrumental version with any audio editing program, rather than just through a camera. It would sound amazing and I know I'd listen to it almost every day.

  • I've seen many YouTube videos, none as good as this.

  • Great!!!

  • OHhhHHHHHH myyyyyyyyyyyyy gooooooooooooooooodddddddddddddddddd!!!!!!! This is amazing!!!! You should do a tutorial video, or better yet post a link for the sheet music because this is epic. Also you should do a video without the song playing in the background so people can hear the piano better. 1000000 thumbs up!!

  • tutoriall pleasee T.T i've been looking for a luv sic 4 tutorial for weeks! could you do onee?

  • Wtf what album is this on???

  • skills my brother, that's straight up skills.

  • I really like this, the idea definitely seemed like it might be a bit too busy, but it works out very well especially since you are a very good pianist.

  • If I ever saw you on the street, I'd give you a great big hug :D

  • tutoria....

  • ooooooooooooooooooooohhhhh yeaaaaaaaaahhhh.........

  • Goosebumps, friend. I have goosebumps.

    That was AMAZING.

Keep going, you definitely got the feel of the song and totally command it.

  • Damn, I cried a bit. Beautiful.. I heard Nujabes' soul playing through yours man...Peace..

  • @CloudxChaos69 Felt the same here, bro... you described everything.

  • dude this is absolutely genius. i wish i lived in cali so you could give me some lessons

  • Sucks how I have to have piano lessons to play it, I just wish I can learn it from this but i accually have to know the keys =(

  • Your piano playing has a soul of its own. I agree, redo it with just the instrumental version. Either we concentrate on lyrics, or your lead piano role.

I've seen some of your other videos before. This time I'm going to subscribe so I expect the best from you ;)

  • I've pushed the replay button one too many times. So beautiful, keep it up man!

  • Mmeronek!!! You need to get in contact with Shing02 himself and re - release Luv Sic Part 4 with your piano in the background. Your playing doesn't just compliment it... and I think most people would agree. It almost sounds like your playing was an integral part of the song that was cut out. Listening to the original just doesn't sound the same. Maybe someone can mix it??

Maybe the songs lends itself well to your improv. but one of your best for sure!!!

  • Dude your solos don't sound like solos at all I mean they fit in so perfect that they sound like they're supposed to be there, how you play seems impossible to learn, maybe you should start creating your own tracks like nujabes id buy. Also could you try nomak's the mind, please?

  • what a masta piece!

  • Absolutely briliant.

  • Could you make a tut on how to play 624 part 1...

  • Mind-Blasting!

  • This is delightfully ambrosial.

    You are the man.

  • your a natural and you have a big heart too. thats all that matters. :)

  • Nothing bad could be said about your rendition. I tried and failed.

  • this is sickk!! do you think you could post a tutorial on how to play the real piano parts from the song?

  • "because you're always looking at other people who are better than you. And you just keep wishing you were them rather than working with what you have right now and realizing that they are nothing special, and you can be just as awesome of a person as them" ima quote this when i solo over any standards jk, anyways awesome thing u just said rite thar~

  • Tutorial por favor =]

  • That was awesome

  • Beautiful :) and also nice wisdom you've got. Keep going on :D

  • @ShiReSe8 heh thanks, I will say Bruce had a big influence on my life as well :)

  • Mmeronek, I know you love NUJAbes...... Very nice man.

  • Can you please redo or remove the original track? I just want to hear your playing!

  • Hey how do you figure out the chords of a song?

  • Awe yeah. =] Your solo'ing really makes this track shine, even with the voice. I would very much like to hear a instrumental version of this; thanks for sharin' though.

  • Btw mmeronek, I like the way you think. Our potential is truly infinite.

i've been waiting for a new upload for quite a while haha.

please do another session with justin ong soon! i enjoy your collaborations with him! Your piano and his drumming compliment each another so well :]

  • what's the chord progression for this song, if you don't mind me asking? i might want to do something like this also.

  • You can get the instrumental on hydeout website?

  • You just have good timing at posting vids right?

  • I'd hit it.

  • No homo but the way your fingers move is amazing lol

  • Great video, I dig it. What key are you playing in?

  • sick stuff mark

  • automatic favorite when I saw this, amazing job!

  • WOAH. I NEVER KNEW THERE WAS A PART 4! good thing i subscribed to you. kudos to you and nujabes! :D

  • Nice as always ;)

  • holy shit

  • i would luv to hear an instrumental version, please make one!

  • This. Is. Amazing.

  • for real though. i just found out about the song yesterday too man. hahahahahahah i was like, is this legit? and then i just didnt care and jammed to it.

  • nice job mark, you, me and josh need to jam again

  • Really awesome solo .

    Nujabes is the best

  • (speaking for myself) in tough times like these...makes me wish it was me who had togo and not nujabes...

  • @red88alert it's just my opinion, but please don't denigrate yourself like that, I think we all have good qualities and creativity to share with the world. Nujabes may have created beautiful music, but I'm sure in your life you will create many beautiful relationships and works of art with your own self expression in whatever you choose to put your heart into.

  • @mmeronek I think many of his fans build him up to be more than human, but in the end he really was just a human being like you and me who wanted to express himself, and I think building him up is a disservice to your own capacity to be a great person whose creativity can equal or rival his. Sorry I wrote so much but I've seen that thinking so much regarding Nujabes and I've just never gotten to speak my mind on it, and if I misunderstood what you were saying, just disregard this.

  • @mmeronek Exactly what I have been thinking as well. People have dehumanized him to the point of a martyr. The reality is that he was a great musician who showed just what we, as humans, are capable of doing. I'd like to think of him as less of a icon and more of a role model, someone you can listen to and admire while building your own musical repertoire. Had to get that off my chest as well :).

  • @Xielden right, it just seems like people admire him to the point of hero worship, but I don't think they understand that if they were to meet him he would just be a regular guy who is very passionate about making music. I guess it took me awhile to realize that too about people I admire, and I understand how it can take some of the excitement out of the fantasy that there are these virtuous beings, but that is just reality, and it also doesn't make him any less special that he is ordinary.

  • @Xielden and man I just think doing that to people takes power away from you in your life to make decisions and effective change, because you're always looking at other people who are better than you. And you just keep wishing you were them rather than working with what you have right now and realizing that they are nothing special, and you can be just as awesome of a person as them, you have that capacity, that potential, and just knowing that we have that potential is so incredibly freeing.

  • @mmeronek Definitely. In a world where self-expression has become more and more of a commodity, we tend to over-exaggerate the feats of others as legend. However, with the scarcity of role models like Nujabes, it is apparent that some people would attach themselves to the idea of that person, rather than discover how it affects them at a introspective level. Taking in the works of art and interpreting them as a part of you is an ideal concept of perception. Even Nujabes had role models.

  • @Xielden

Nice way of looking at it

  • @mmeronek Also, amidst the verbose dialogue of our philosophical conundrum, I forgot to comment on how much I enjoyed this video. :D

  • @mmeronek my bad im just saying...there are times when you just cant help but feel this great space between you and the world...

  • Beautiful as always! :D

  • @Thsiscool xD

  • maybe use some more chromatic notes it would sound more jazzy in my opinion

  • You're the MAN!

  • Damn makes me wish I never quit lessons when I was younger! Good job man!

  • Awesome. Seba Jun I Miss You

  • Awesome bro!

    Luv it!

  • beast :) learned how to play sick ass nujabes songs from this dude lol
