  • 4.20, all together with R.Waters! when was it?

  • as much i love tons of rock bands i cannot deny that my heart was stolen by Pink Floyd long time ago and still is , it proved that rock n roll does not have to involve sex drugs and alcohol like the main stream ones, ironically listening to Pink Floyd high is very relaxing , may sound controversial but it is the truth.

  • Awesomeness R.I.P RW....

  • WOW GREAT WORK Richard Wright

  • AWESOME!!

  • And at 5:04 what a fantastic couple of friends. How we all miss dear Rick Wright. May God bless him.

  • @MRestisbest God Blessed him at conception ,, may God reward him by allowing him to play for the Angels

  • And so do I. We all wish Rick were here. P.S.Greetings dear friend.

  • How i wish, Richard, how i wish you were here

  • Oh Jesus CHRIST Rick, can you GET any more perfect... ♥♥

*le sigh* It's just so unbelievable how amazing he is :]

  • at 0:39 he looks like srv

  • beautiful song

  • Beautiful 'naked' version. Thank you Mr. Wright -- for all that you gave to this world.

  • a very nice solo from gilmour too.

  • 1:59 Is that a young Dick Parry?

  • @bpvogel Nah, thats Rick. he played brass instruments in a couple of floyd songs

  • @bpvogel It looks like Rick. Dick Parry has a much different mouth

  • @bpvogel It's Rick in about... 1965, I'd say. He could play saxophone, along with the 20 other instruments he could also play x) He was so talented ♥

  • @OmegaWolfPack Did he ever play guitar?

  • @whangie1 Yes, in fact that was one of the first instruments he learned along with piano

  • I get on tears when i listen to this verison

  • sounds more like Gilmour's last tour? But if you say its from 77 then ok??

  • This is undescribable, Cool, It has to be floyd, but wow? Awesume!!

  • From which bootleg is this?

  • gotta get this bootleg, Rick's work made the atmosphere to Floyd, without him they never could have sounded as great. Pink Floyd= the best there ever was.

  • @jalang63

    I Second that!

  • Rick was the best of Floyds. Wish I could shake his hand and say "Thank you, sir!" .

  • For me this is a masterpiece.Pink Floyd is so emotional...the rythms of Nick Mason make their music changing along the piece, the guitar and the lyrics of David Gilmour adorned the melody and made you feel it at first hand. Waters with his philosophy and extreme lyrics and sound and OF COURSE: Richard Wright, who gives the atmosphere to the music, that atmosphere so raw and many times so sad. They are ART .They Highlight from bands like Yes, ELP, Rush, King Crimson, Jethro tull...

  • @DepecheChess U nailed that one mate.

  • @DepecheChess what do you mean "They" highlight from bands like Yes, ELP, etc etc

  • Ci manchi tanto Rick!!

  • oh how the tears well up......

  • amazing solo in the end!

  • :'-)

  • rick wasnt just a brilliant keyboard player.he was the only one of floyd who went to music school and he tuned waters bass before every gig+he could play good guitar and sing and a brilliant sentimental person who didnt get the credit he deserved now that hes gone its now we realise he was one of the best musicians in rock history

  • I wonder everytime why didn't I was born in those days when P.F were all together and playing live their magical music!!!

  • pink floyd was was world i will miss them

  • Lennon and Harrison gone... no Beatlles

    Bonham gone...no Zeppelin

Wright gone... sadly no more Pink Floyd

  • That doesn't mean no one would show up to a Pink Floyd reunion/David Gilmour solo tour. If you guys are reading this. Please!

  • snif '

  • Pure brilliance. Totaly unice sound, it's a big loss for the music now that's he's gone...

    Shine On!

  • So lovely it is almost painful, but too beautiful to miss...The hairs on my neck are on end....

  • thats right Richard

  • ''none knows where is better''Plato from Apology Socrates..from Greece wirh love..goodbye Richard!

  • what boot is this from is this in oakland or germany

  • Is from boot: "Welcome to the machine" New York MSG 02/07/1977

  • the best!!!

    forever!!!

  • THEY ARE INMORTAL...

  • totally agree

  • Pink Floyd?

    Definitely.

  • They really are. Syd and Rick are somewhere looking upon everyone who ever valued and appreciated their music. And how proud they'd be that they brought joy to millions.

  • well said

  • I agree too....

  • maybe you mean IMMORTAL?

  • Riposa in pace Richard Wright...un grande del rock!!!

  • concordo fratello

  • 1977 - Oakland Coliseum, May 9th 1977, Animal's Tour

  • Wow, sounds like its improved alot since my tape version.

I'll have to look out for it, cheers!

  • WOW where did this come from, ive been following the floyd form 60's and never heard this version, it is simply perfection, Richard Wright was one the founding members of the pink floyd, and his influnces can be heard and most of the floyd albums, Richard Wright REST IN PEACE, WISH YOU WERE HERE.

  • Excelente versión. La atmósfera que le da el piano de Rick es increible. RIP.

  • wow, this version is excellent.

  • i always wondered what wish you were here would sound like with electric guitar and here it is. great.

  • unique version, great.

  • Very nicely done

  • FOREVER
