I dont see how people think Cliff Lee didn't deserve the cy young.
He had 22 wins and only 3 losses! Plus a 2.54 ERA. With a good amount of strikeouts, with 170. He had 27% of the teams wins too! Such a shame that Cleveland had back-to-back Cy Young's, and traded them both away..
Voters are in love with wins. You get the most wins, your value goes up a ton. Even if you don't earn those wins, nobody cares. If Halladay would have racked up 22 wins, he would've won easily. It doesn't matter that Halladay got much less run support, giving him losses and taking away wins. It doesn't matter that Halladay owned Lee in every other category besides ERA. It doesn't matter that Halladay pitches in the AL east against the Sox/Yanks. All they care about are wins

According to you, the Cy Young is based on wins. So why would you want him to win it anyway if its such a fluked award?
if lee was better than halladay then why did the phillies pursuaded to get halladay first... lee was chosen at the end of the trade deadline because they cant get the BEST pitcher in the league doc...

More like a victim of poor run support (ok, he had one bad game but that's the only game he's pitched less than 7 innings in at least a year) Halladay has pitched the same in the first 12 games as he has in the last 12 yet he was something like 10-1 in the first 12 and 3-5 in the last 12, simply because the Jays blow and give him no run support.
2. Pitching in the NL is a breeze... i'm pretty sure every baseball fan knows that by now
