  • I didn't build the ships - they're from one of the collections by the guys at 3drt.com. Only did a few minor tweaks with positioning to get them into the engine (size, rotations, etc).

    As for the movement - I went with my own logic there - mainly because of how I needed the movement to interact with gameplay (for collision responses), along with the UI. In particular, the way I handled the boosting mechanic needed to be tightly integrated with the UI/Controls/Movement logic…

  • could you give me some tips on how you built the ships. also did you just apply the third persons controls to it? I just started unity and like it alot. I am familar with game makers but would like some info on starting my space game. thanks
