It is true that even from a scientific viewpoint, all life is interconnected and does not exist in isolation. And over the years, in meditation I find that the barriers seem to dissolve more and more regarding what is actually 'self'. It is best not to identify with anything at all and simply allow witnessing to happen. When I can actually do this (letting go, not thinking but just knowing) I find that there are progressively less barriers between myself, other people, and the world itself.
