  • yes it was......and the company is Richfield Management in Michigan.

  • Neat...what was the manufacturer of the side loader??

  • I drove a recycle truck with a packing blade like that......i hated

  • Manual side loader? Where was this and which company was it?

  • Nice job! So I take it this is the one you haven't got in action - seems different to the regulars? Looks pretty new as well, as if it's just been repainted! I like that angle of the RR just a bit after 0:55, just a cool view of the stuff falling out. Also I'm suprised how much green waste you guys get over there, especially considering it's a weekly collecting during the Winter periods. Is your council near the coast or more inland?

  • This area's a bit inland, still within 45 min. of it though. Yep, 64's one of the new MSLs, got some video of this truck a while back during the first few weeks of operation (see the Christmas '07 vids) as well as for the whole '08 summer series :) Yep, majority of people have gardeners who do it for them, so that's probably a main reason.

  • That view has a bit of a story behind it, I actually was watching someone else's vid of a RR, thought the same thing as you. Real neat angle where you can see it all sorta pile out....Then I just had the realization "Wait a minute, RRs collect my trash/recycling, I could get the same kind of view with my own camcorder!", so I try to get a shot like that every now and then...

  • People have gardeners as well! Then that means there isn't shit out compared to what there could be, bloody hell... talk about a lot of greens.

Well I love that angle of the RR, something nice to mix up the footage with.

  • No, the gardeners set out each residents' greens in their own bins, at their curb. Normally don't haul everything away with them...

  • Ooohhhh..... now that makes a little more sense, to think what there could've been if it was like I thought.

  • Yeah LOL that's only for commercial places and most mobile home parks where the haul it away themselves.

  • Ok thanks... and again nice vid!

  • we got autocars for recycle and trash they sound great when comming down the st only problem packer is slow gotta keep reving too get too go faster

  • Just got a new Autocar low entry FL truck and it is so uncomfortable to drive, the steering wheel is too low you have to bend over to drive it. The only thing I like about it is it does haul ass, not to mention the slop!

  • Nice again! Was that truck 210? Looking forward to more!

  • 210 was only shown in that one shot for a few seconds in the ASLs video. Notice the different sound and alternate color scheme 210 has from the occassional ASLs seen in this series...

  • well if they do go automated for greens they gotta get new trucks for it

  • And they recently got these new MSLs so I doubt they will anytime soon

  • you gotta love that autocar sound

  • eghhh.....not really LOL

  • i hope edi doesnt go automated for greens

  • Yeah same here
