I'm seeing a lot of Jake clones nowadays. Not that gaining inspiration from greats like Jake is bad but I don't see any of these guys develop their own unique style. :(

lol, iknow. i usually play with a guitarist in a duo band with some of my own styles. its just that i was playing solo that night...and i just had that song in my mind for hana hou. lol, its a good song to show da contrast between traditional hawaiian kanikapila and modern ukulele music tho yeah? i dont wanna like...copy Jake exactly like he is...i wanna be myself, but theres nothing wrong with playing other people's song is there, no? im still working on it. thanks tho.
