Well, I know a few people that got really good in around two or three months, and I mean a lot better than just being able to 100% this song. Back when I started I only played for the fun of it and never really cared all that much about getting better. I got to where I could pass every song on expert and do pretty well but was never THAT good, but then I started wanting to get better and I got a TON better in just a week or two. You just gotta have your mind set on it I guess.

By the way, I fail to see how "u" is easier to type than "you." If you learned how to fucking type it would be a simple one motion thing either way. You emit two letters, you're saving maybe one tenth of a second. Even "you're" is a simple one motion word that takes like one fourth of a second to type. In your entire comment you saved yourself from pressing 5 keys. You spent more time holding down the period key than you saved by not typing those 5 characters.

Judging by your amazing spelling and flawless grammar I'd guess you're probably in your third or fourth year of kindergarten, which means you've obviously played longer than I have. Seeing as you can type words like "u" and "musta" so perfectly, you obviously have great finger coordination and can definitely play Enter Sandman on real guitar better than I could.

Sarcasm, I'm hoping? =P I actually haven't played Rock Band in about 2 weeks, and I generally only play around once a week(and always drums, I've only played guitar like 4 times in Rock Band), and rarely more than an hour or two at a time. I've played Guitar Hero 2 for about 7 or 8 months, though.A few hours a week for 8 months adds up to more practice than you might think. =)
man, the 2x points for perfect solo is SO key. I like the strat controller more, but some people swear by the les paul, so to each his own i suppose. nice work man
i can fc this entire song except the end of the solo :( those four descending notes. the timing in rock band....i just cant get a hold of it for some songs. i play too fast i think cause i am used to gh3
Yeah, GH3 seems to eat some people's HO/PO skills. Luckily, I play more GH2/80s than GH3 so I haven't had that problem yet with Rock Band. I would either just keep practicing with the HO/POs in Rock Band until you're used to it, or perhaps play some GH2/80s because it seems to be very very similar in how it works(if not exactly the same).

Yeah, GH3 seems to eat some people's HO/PO skills. Luckily, I play more GH2/80s than GH3 so I haven't had that problem yet with Rock Band. I would either just keep practicing with the HO/POs in Rock Band until you're used to it, or perhaps play some GH2/80s because it seems to be very very similar in how it works(if not exactly the same).
