The oil money is being used to rebuild primary services first. there is no point having houses and electricity if the country is still in chaos. They need to use that money to establish police and infrastructure before they can get around to helping everyone.

You can interview a homeless person in any country and make that country seem worse off than it is.

You do also realise that Al Jazeera have a series called "People and Power" and they are banned from Saudi Arabia. You do also realise that Qatar is one of the few countries in the region that practices universal suffrage.

@dragonrasp They didn't lose a war. They were invaded by a vastly superior military force, and we westerners, the invaders, put them in this position. There was no plan in place for the welfare of the civilian population. Allowing human suffering like this to continue is inexcusable, and makes nonsense of Bush's trumpetings about 'freedom in Iraq'.
