I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree

@cranding your compaing a car made in the 1960s with a modren car. Sure a modern car could move faster than the DB5, but new cars today with the exception of a few high end vehicles will never hold the mystic of a DB5. The DB5 is about style. Its a Gran Turismo car, not a sports car. Gran Turismo cars are designed with style and comfort for long distance driving. but not always that fast. Still for its day, the DB5 was quite fast.

Most Mercedes vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and EFi injectors clean as new!
You might as well have bought a Ford Mondeo in the first place instead of a DB9! How BORING and bog-standard is that? You see those things around everywhere!!!
Personally, I prefer my classic 1985 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvo. Charismatic, beautiful, elegant and packs a little bit of punch still. Makes a rather splendid sound too! :)
One of my all time favourite automobile fantasies...Driving one of these up the Kings Rd West London wearing a well cut suit and a Breitling.Pure class.
you wouldn't drive it?? what a waste... there aint nothing worse than having beautiful cars like this just sitting in some garage. These cars are made to be driven. And waitinglists only exists when a new car is introduced, if you have the money you could be a DB5 owner by tomorrow.
Both the DB5 and the Cobra are great without mods. I'd love a DB5, but most European cars are more like Beetle, sadly. It's a stereotype. My dentists new Ford GT can probably smoke all of these without mods, too.
Linchoe shut up bout ur cobra - dis is 007 and extremely cool european class. ur cobra probably dun up. shut ur filthy trap or ill get my commodore to eat ur bloody cobra whole.

chemical specialist and engine engineers tell 4 stroke engine owners (of older cars)
to putting 1% two stroke oil into the fuel too, because the modern fuel contains
alcohol and acid, the modern 2 Stroke oil neutralizes these corrosion factors and
lubricates the carbs, tanks or / and injection systems also the upper cylinder parts.
2 Stroke oil cleans piston rings and combustion chambers too.

@audittracer08 but he stated huge acceleration and hes filmed it properly about 2 years ago which wouldnt be fast then either.
if he filmed it in the 60s it would be fast.
