You will be able to open any of the parts of that assembly and do what you need to do to the parts. InventorLT is primarily deisgned for part creation and documentation.
Thanks again, Rob. I'm finding it very useful, accurate and quick to model our small parts in Inventor then create the projected views as you demonstrate. A quick round-trip back to AutoCad allows me to build a dynamic, "multi-view" block of said part by utilizing some Visiblity States for each view. You might call them Legion, for they are many... one block to bring them all and in the darkness, bind them!!!

Would I be able to open a large assembly created in Inventor 10 with this software, and still have access to all of the original information?
